According to twitter he is about to leave West Brom already - just confirmed on Sky!!
Maybe sir jack had a word with the big man upstairs.
Gerry Francis in.
I thought Francis was already there?
Courtesy of WM.
Francis was just a Consultant
Power clash probably.
Jewell, being an ex-manager was probably providing more input than required - and didn't go down well with Pulis.
Used to happen a lot when teams had joint managers - which is probably why you never see joint managers these days.
Or perhaps he has been offered a managers job elsewhere ?
Strange appointment in the first place
That's my take on it.
This ain't a Villa News thread
Just been on sky that it wasn't by mutual consent and is in the hands of his lawyer.
You beat me to it-all very strange, an odd appointment in the first place and I am pretty sure it isn't something Pullis would have wanted.
Villa with Roy Keane?
Apparently was asked to take a pay cut after just one week in the job to free up wages towards another coach joining . Don't know how true it is.
hahahaha - Peace is a legend
And some on here still insist the 'Albion Model' is the one that Wolves should aspire to?
The continuing soap opera that is WBA...
Pat Murphy is saying that Pulis had a remit to hire his own backroom staff within a set budget and then had to reduce Jewels wages to accomodate Francis but Jewell has refused to play ball and so has appointed laywers.
Fun and games down the road. Peace wont be happy.
Sadly I feel Pulis will do what's needed to safe them from relegation but this issue does throw a spanner in the works. It's a matter of how much of an issue or disruption it causes.
Peace won't be happy and as we know Pulis likes to be in full control of clubs he manages. However, even if Peace is unhappy about what has gone on, he would be mad to upset Pulis because if he goes, I think they are certainties for relegation.
Their still in the Prem, probably will be next season, make far more money than we do....
Contrast that with how killjoy Moxey and Morgan lectured us endlessly about the perils of debt. Now who is buying £10m players while we bring in Tommy Rowe?!
Turned out to be a self-fulfilling prophecy in the end!
Peace may make the odd mistake such as with his last couple of managerial appointments, but guess what, they're still earning far more cash with less wages-turnover than us.
Peace can never be accused of complacency and knows what it takes to keep a club in the Premier League. Morgan and Moxey (who is the Albion CEO?) were asleep at the wheel. (while telling us we were a well-run club)
How I wish Peace was our chairman.
Sadly, I think they have dodged a bullet with him leaving. I'm not entirely sure Francis is a great appointment.
Things don't always go according to plan, but if you look objectively over the last 13 years they've had more good times than bad.
Alright treacle. Fancy a cuppa?
Ask most Albion fans and they would disagree with that. They can't stand him. I think Albion have been very lucky the last couple of years.
Separate names with a comma.
