    That deserves the sack.

Nothing in the local rag but if Derby got nuked it wouldn`t get reported for a couple of days. Think E&S minus 100 and you have the Derby Evening Telegraph, but it is not a local rag anymore but part of a nationwide group rag!

Just goes to prove that chopping and changing doesn't neccesarily work. If Davies (who was treated badly) was still at Derby, I reckon they'd be challenging.

They definately went up too early under Billy Davies who, just like Mick at Sunderland, had proved himself a top manager. However they got rid of Davies during the Premiership season when not even Mourinho would've kept them up.

I'm just glad at wolves that we didnt go up in Micks first season in charge and have had chance to build a squad where a few players would be able to survive in the top flight.

Paul Ince for Derby i reckon.

When Giles Barnes is back to fitness I hope we go for him while Derby are in disarray. As for Jewell, he can't say he wasn't backed.

Blue's in for him according to the E and S but if he could get fit would be a very useful signing, Isn't he a bit like Derby's Gobern in terms of games played though

Just been reading a piece in the Sun about Liam Dickinson a player on loan at Blackpool who's played under 7 Managers in the last 7 months.

Played for Stockport under John Gannon in May then moved to Derby. Loaned to Huddersfield who then sacked Stan Ternant to be replaced by Gerry Murphy. Switched to Blackpool who've lost Simon Grayson to be replaced by Steve Thompson & Tony Parkes.

Dickenson's quote " I join a club, start scoring goals for them and then the Manager leaves. I don't know what it is........ maybe I'm a jinx".

Check the papers Liam, you're due another Gaffer when you go back to Pride Park.

Yeah he's had a bad run but a real talent and the kind of increasingly rare creative talent who can open up defences and score special goals. But who knows how the injuries have affected him? The other Derby midfielder, of a very different defensive bruiser type, worth seriously considering is Miles Addison, as mentioned elsewhere.

jewell jumped before he was pushed with his pride hurt, but i doubt he will need the benefits office to sustain him. they were in a difficult position when he took over and he wasnt able to get them back on track.

Good call, there or Forest, mind you Jewell could end up at Forest also unless he takes a break.
