Without Sako, they're not consistently good enough.

VLP is hit and miss....Henry is bland and not good enough.

We really need to buy here in January.

I agree we need another pacey winger for the squad.
I do like RVLP though but I do agree that Henry is too slow.

VLP needs to learn how to cross. Infuriating.
Worked hard and tracked back well though, and provided an assist

    Good lad

he was really frustrating at times today, but I felt he struggled because Blackpool parked the bus a bit and doubled up on him at times, when Afobe came on they had someone else to worry about running at them and that's when VLP came alive. Thought VLP and Dom linked well together.

It would be great but he is never fit and when he does get fit he gets injured!

VLP is getting much more involved now generally which is good. Yes his final ball is often poor but he has also set up a few goals for us and makes life difficult for all the opposing full backs he meets. I believe he will get better and better and is very much worth persevering with.

Henry, as we all know, lacks the searing pace needed in that position but is a clever footballer. I could see him being very effective as a No.10. Good squad member but if we want to go to the next level yes another pacey and skilful winger would make a difference. Especially as, unless we get promoted, Sako will have to be replaced by a quality player. Yes would be great if Boukari came good and remained injury free. Unlikely perhaps but a huge boost if it happened.Don't forget Zele either. Once he gets back from his unfortunate injury he will have one last chance to show that he has what it takes. He has the skill and speed but lacks the basic league experience at the moment.Like McAlinden his career with us is in the balance.

For me wingers are the threat of a team. They add the spice and get the fans going.

    We need another one.

La parra is miss or hit

But he put two on plate today before the goal, so should we moan?

James henry I'm sorry I fail to see how he is good enough to start, no wonder millwall dumped him

Think we saw the best & worse of Van La Parra today.

Infuriating when he does all these pointless skills and that don't involve going past players but his delivery was poor for most of the game until towards the end where he fizzed in two fantastic crosses, one which lead to the goal.

You can see when he just picked the ball up and was direct the Blackpool players couldn't live with him. I hope to see more of that La Parra.

There's definitely a good player in there just needs to add that consistency.

Have to say, I was really disappointed with Henry today. Don't think it helped him playing on the left but he just didn't keep the width at all today and its even more annoying because Hause just isn't that type of full back that can offer us an outlet like Iorfa/Doherty/Golbourne can (and that's not a criticism of Hause, he's definitely more of a CB that FB)

Henry was very poor today. Didn't get involves and shirked challenges. Poor.

Another dangerous winger on loan and a creative midfielder and we will make a challenge for the top 2 IMO.

Henry lacks bottle and drive - always takes a few baby steps to avoid having to make a challenge . He has been poor this season from the start . VLP is raw but has far more natural talent than Henry .

Henry is like a Beckham. If you go 442, have 2 big players upfront Henry will get you assists.

But if you want him to beat players and put balls into a striker that is 5ft8 and expect assists. That isn't him.

Sako will be back soon, then imagine the forward line containing sako, divko, RVLP, afobe
I would not want to play in defence against those. Even more reason we'll need strong defensive midfielders if we play all that offensive talent.

Thought VLP was MOtM . Yes he's infuriating but he wouldn't be at us if he had a good delivery every time!!! 1 in 4 is about what he's on now IMO. He's gradually improving defensive work; it's nice to have players with pace again!

We've outgrown Henry - just like we did Jacobs.

Too slow and weak - he needs to be moved on.

The notion VLP is fast makes me laugh, he ain't slow but!! There was one occasion where him and Edwards chased after the ball, dangerous destroyed him for pace!!!!

At least 3 times VLP got to the by line and put in shocking crosses, and his corners!! I'm not the type who goes ott about sako but today I realise he's miles above all the rest, miles miles miles better

Henry is too slow to play as a winger. We need another option, in my opinion.

A combination I think - Edwards is quicker than people think and runs forever, however VLP like Jarvis has a change of pace that is more important for a winger.

RVLP didn't sprint the whole way to be fair but Edwards showed some great pace there.

Henry does lack pace but he is the only player we have that consistently whips in quality crosses. He provides a different dimension to the more pacey wingers and therefore definitely has a role to play in my opinion. VLP may be quick but he is a bit of a headless chicken, occasionally terrific often hopeless. If we get promoted I can see VLP being moved on whilst Henry is retained.

I'd settle for a winger who can take a corner.

Fair play to RVLP today. Despite his inconsistent end product, he was for much of the game our only real attacking threat. There is talent there. Our coaches should be relishing the opportunity to bring it out on a more consistent basis.

Unless you're a super rich mega club signing the best players in the world, you're going to have to put up with wingers who are a little hit and miss. The ones with consistent end product get snapped by the rich clubs. I mean, look at Sako as an example. He is the best winger Wolves have by a mile, but even he dances along the thin line between brilliance and being frustrating as hell at times.

I can't comment much on James Henry as I've not seen loads of him this season, but what I can say is that Rajiv van La Parra's performances have been far improved recently and he is producing the goods. Let's face it though, if he was the finished article with consistent end product, he wouldn't have joined Wolves on a free transfer.

Completely disagree, Henry barely has enough quality for this level while Van La Parra is only 23 and has a lot of potential although he is a bit raw now. He's still a better player than Henry already IMO.

Our predicament as a Club over the last 2 - 3 years has meant that we can only attract players like JH, Jacobs and RVLP. If they were any better they would be plying their trade in the Prem. We've got what we can afford/attract at this time. If we can become a genuine top 6 Champ side then we will be able to buy better, if SM is prepared to pay. If we can make a step up we need to be ruthless with the cull but that's another story!

Agree to an extent, considering how often Van La Parra beats the fullback he would be playing for a decent side in the Prem or in France if he could put a consistently quality delivery in.

Henry will go if we got promoted. RVLP will still be here.
