    As it says.

Every week we field a team which consists of many of our promotion winning team, who's actually made the step up and can now be considered a genuine Premier League quality player? I'm saying Hennessey and Jarvis, that's it. Some can do a job from time to time and compete at this level, certain players would attract interest from other Premier League clubs but I think that only two are really good enough to be considered proper Premier League players.

    Any advances?

Just those two for me too, although both are borderline given some of their recent performances.

Jarvis on his day. That's it really.

The fact we rely so so heavily on these players still kind of sums up why we are in such a mess!

We're in the bottom three. That would suggest none of them.

Agree with Hennessey and Jarvis and would probably include Henry in the list. I also think Berra and Ward have generally acquitted themselves pretty well but I probably wouldn't call either true Premiership class.

Karl Henry. We're just not the same side without him, Stephen Ward has been doing well too.

That's the problem all but for a few additions the club haven't committed to strengthening with premier league quality players! That's why we're are getting whooped week after week!

Jarvis without a doubt. He beats his man every single time

For me Henry does it from time to time, we're much better with him than without him but he has to be right on top of his game to be a real dominant force in a match.

Stephen Ward is not a left back. He looked ok for five games this season but if you look at today he's not PL class at all.

Shame he doesn't do it more often. The rest of them for me are still championship players. No one else has stepped up.

Hennessey, Ward, Jarvis, Henry could all play for mid-table sides. Berra, Stearman, Edwards, Foley would probably be picked up by bottom sides, like we've done in the past couple of years.

They have all made the step up, that is why they are in their 3rd season. Would any other establised premiership club buy them though, that is a different question.

    Hen, Jarvo, Henry - definately
Steers, Berra, Ward - jury's out
Foley, SEB - injuries have stopped progress, but I reckon they'd step up

We have a number of player who i think are more than capable of playing in the Premier League ( Foley, Jarvis, Stearman, Henry, Hennesey ). If any of those players had moved to a club like Everton or Fulham i think they would have come on leaps and bounds alongside established premier league player. They havent had that at Wolves and i think the constant relegation struggles have stunted their development.

Maybe another relevant question would be "who have we bought since the who has made the grade at PL level?". I think that, depressingly, gives a smaller list. I would say Zubar and Flecther, maybe Hunt if was fit more often than he was injured.

From those we've brought, you'd have to say Doyle and Fletcher are the only two that have proven to be real Premier League quality for us. Others (Milijas, Guedioura, O'Hara and Johnson) have shown it in the occasional performance but not on a consistent enough basis to be called true top level class.

I guess it just proves that a lot of the time, you get what you pay for.
