It always makes me laugh when you get this....ought to be a top six team thing with Newcastle....other than a brief moment in the sun under King Kev they've been pretty much as crap as we were over the last 30 years. They have this sense of entitlement to belong in the higher echelons but in reality they are far more Sports Direct than John Lewis.
    I don't like them.....9-0.

Newcastle, a great night out - full of local slappers and chippy AHs...

A club/team that coined the phrase 'serial failure' - the Keegan implosion said it all. They don't get the fact that the rest of football has ****ed themselves laughing at their 'big club' for years.

If ever a club deserved Mike Ashley as owner and a whinging fat Spanish waiter as manager (if they can't bring back Joe Kinnear) it was that lot. Sports Direct is the most upmarket thing in Newcastle. All they are missing is Jiz 'the best in the business' Moxey as Chief Exec. Go on Mike, you know it makes sense!

I really hope that we absolutely smash them on Monday evening.

It's going to be a hard game but there's absolutely no reason we can't make it a record 4 wins in a row for us.

Come Monday evening you can trust Nuno to have us set and fully-charged ready for a gruelling game against Rafa and his tactical plans. It will be us throwing VAR signs at Benitez for some of the penalty decisions we will surely be denied

Make no mistake we will want this win, get that first goal and it can be so much easier for us.

Expect us to come out on top, no matter. 3 - 1.

They have a lot of their "big" players back for this one,may be tough first half, but we will grind them down and finish them in the second,4 in a row for me

They've just got a beef that we are going places, while they're stuck in the **** with the "cockey mafia"! Altogether now, there's a circus in the town, in the town, Benitez is the clown, is the clown, Jonjo Shelvey's got the ****ing pox, Newcastle are going down, going down! Nice 2019 update to an 80s classic that!

We've been to the sunshine, we'll be primed to go. I think this is the game where our class will finally show: 5-0.

Neves with 2 from range and a Fifa 19 in-form to follow.

Haha. I just want them to bump his distance shooting full stop.
It’s pathetic as is. Also reckon Jimenez is the currently most criminally underrated player on the game, particularly in the prem where majority are slightly overrated.

    Beat these mongs.

3-0 Wolves, I’ve a special place in hell for them. The only club I hope goes bankrupt and vanishes off the face of the earth.

For anyone predicting big scores, Newcastle have got a similar defensive record to ourselves, Benetiz just isn't a defensively naive manager.

Fair point, but his defensively naive change at HT in our game against them earlier in the season directly led to their downfall ;)

We should stuff these tbh the way we've been playing, but that's just not how football works is it. Hard fought, edgy 2-0 to Wolves I think. Looking forward to it.

We have an abysmal Monday night football record so I'm going for a 2-2 draw but hoping for better.

I expect Newcastle to be defensive and play on the break, they'll look to frustrate us. With Rondon in the team they will always have an outlet up front and he is the type of forward we struggle against.

Newcastle do need points though as they're right in the middle of that relegation battle but a point might be enough for them.

If we score early I'd expect us go on and win the game. If we don't score early then we'll need to be patient but even then I think we have enough in the side to overcome them

I've got no doubt we are in the form of my life at the moment. I just watched their game v Tottenham the other other day and they packed that box. May require someone like Neves.

Have we actually struggled v teams who have sat back this season, or more so teams who have packed our midfield?

I personally think we've usually been beaten when we've been overran in midfield, something we've tried (and so far succeeded) to nip in the bud by adding Dendoncker in there and slightly changing the formation. West Ham sat back and got battered, so think we're over that particular issue of not being able to create when teams sit back.

Newcastle lost something like their first 9 in a row on Monday and have only just recently got over that hoodoo.
    Our hoodoo finishes tonight.

Setting off for Wolves in a minute. As long as we move the ball with pace and purpose I don't see why we can't get 3 points. Letting them put 10 men behind the ball and playing in front of them is a recipe for disaster.

Never take a draw before the game. What's the point? Wouldn't even take it before we played City away! In it to win it - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't :)

Looked at a few of their forums (as sad as I am) and I cant recall encountering such a thick set of supporters before. I have to assume that most posters are around 13 - 15 yo although that's probably being a bit unfair on your average teenager.

    2-1 to Wolves tonight.

Will be very tight against a tough, defensive 541 Newcastle line up hoping to catch us on the break. 0-0, 1-0, 0-1, 1-1. Just want three points and don't mind how it comes. Our 352 looks very solid now so even with a new recruit or two Newcastle will have a hard battle tonight. Assume £20m Almiron will be a sub and come on around 55/60 minutes into the match so we will have to be careful at that point as he will play in the No.10 role behind Rondon presumably. Let's win this.
