Thought it might be good to have a MotD thread for the season. Nice to see Ruben in the opening credits. Think we're the second game on judging by the list on the opening?

Fulham look very strong on paper, but on the pitch their defence looks a bit suspect. Like ours! Pleasantly surprised that McDonald has kept his place.

Think we'll get - bit harsh on red card but not a mistake. Neves could be a star this season (shock!).

Raucous crowd - although according to some on here atmosphere was poor

Oh didn't realise it was Ryan 'poor distribution' Bennett who played Jiminez in for his 1 on 1.

Every time I see Jimenez's header it gets better and better. It's a great finish from a fantastic ball.

    Who is on BT?
They reckoned Pickford took a right step before the free kick too.

In Australia on Optus Sport we have Johnathan Joseph, some asian girl, Leroy Rosenior and Don bloody Hutchinson.
Is this the BT show just piped through?

Perhaps it's because I'm getting old, but I simply can't believe Bournemouth are in the Premier League (despite their money.) It still seems weird.

He did take a step right and he would likely have saved it if he hadn't, it wasn't even nearly perfectly placed but it was hit with pace.

We had to put up with Macmanaman being so bias it was slightly cringy and Jake Humphrey is just spectacularly unprofessional in my opinion.

sorry rant over it's just the bias against us is ridiculous

Not a red according to Wrighty !!!!! Slow motions show he could easily have snapped his leg hitting him full force just above his ankle - Jagelka must be still p'ed off he was on the losing side at Cardiff back in 2003, deserves a l o n g ban.

Surreal watching Wolves on MOTD. We need to take it all in and enjoy it before it loses that wow factor and just becomes the norm for us. ;)

I have to say I've LOVED the increased media presence before the game. So much more to read and watch for Premier League games, each match almost becomes more like an event than just the usual grind of the championship.

there was no bias, i don't know how some of you cope with day to day life. The red card could have gone either way, and pickford took a step to his right and still got a hand to it with the change of position, so if he'd stayed put he probably would have saved it

OK, didn't get to game, my first up is Man City so listened to game on Talk Sport, the sending off was undecided, yellow or red so, along with everyone else watched highlites on MoTD, conclusion, Jagielka should be banned for maximum allowed, that tackle was as dangerous as it gets, you could see Jotas ankle bend with his foot bent at right angle, and the moron Wright says it should only have been a yellow. Funny enough, I guess if it had have been his son Wright Phillips he would have been jumping up and down screaming for the player to be sent off. Anyone disagree?

Just home and thank God, Everton fans were a ****ing nightmare on train home, apparently they bossed the game, not a red, Neves got lucky and the ref was a Wolves fan. Worst set of supporters since the ****s I had to share a train with earlier, sexist racists scum. Always thought Everton fans were ok, how wrong was I!!!:mad:

just like how much air time we get compared to other teams. It's not a conspiracy, MOTD always rush through games that don't feature the big six so they can show extended highlights of those games. At least it's not like back in 2003 when you stay up until midnight to get a 30 second round up of the game right before the credits.

I like the characters. The new Leeds manager is the same, they seem so consumed by the game that they don't care about anything else.

Nuno is very much a character too, standing there there stroking his beard and answering interview questions like a philosopher. Like these other managers, he doesn't care what people think. Hes wrapped up in his own ideas and convinced his way is the best way.

Neves did him, simple as that. Pickford will have seen (or been told about) Neves going to the other corner against Cardiff and Brentford, Pickford took a half step in that direction and that was that
