I would give an ok 6/10 if Sako stays, plus the Afobe signing.

Not conclusive, but not awful either. At least a certain level
    of ambition showing itself.

One more forward, then up to 9/10 if it is a good signing.

Sako goes and is replaced 4/10

Sako goes and no replacement 1/10

    As things stand, 7/10.

Afobe signed and Sako gone, 2/10. What's the point?

If we sign another player for the first team squad, not a development squad prospect, 9/10.

I'm one of the more positive posters I think!

2 for signing for Afobe and 3 for Keeping Sako. Signing of Afobe or another is window late and were still a striker short.

5 out of 10. Watch this space.

As it stands 2 /10 nowhere near enough done to get us into the top 6.

If Sako goes with no replacement then 0/10 and another example of Morgans ambition or lack of it.

Aw other forward was the minimum requirement and I think Afobe is better than the bare minimum so 6/10. If Sako goes with no replacement 2/10, with a replacement anything from 5/10 to 7/10 depending on the replacement.

Shouldn't judge this window in isolation; looked at from strengthening the first XI from the end of last season, then no more than 2/10, generally in line with my expectations. Hope to be proved wrong over the next 10+ hours, but not by the sale of Sako!

As it stands 4 out of 10, if sako goes 1/10.

Would be happy with a 6/10 so not asking for the earth.

5/10 - even if Sako stays put.

Look at the state of the bench on Saturday.

    Questions still remain:

Who is going to replace the least creative 'number 10' that the world is likely to have seen?

Who is going to provide competition to a Midfield two who are lacking dynamism.

We've stuttered through against Blackpool, possibly could have lost versus Charlton and scraped a draw against Bolton. Very, very fortunate, and further proof, if it's even required, that the lack of creativity in this team is so abysmal it's frightening. We've really struggled without Sako.

It's standard Wolves procedure to 'put bids in for players', not match their asking price and say 'well, we tried, the loan window opens soon'. Typically, i wouldn't be bothered, but having seen the quality of the league this season, i have to question why we aren't putting all of our focus into achieving a top 2 finish - yes, i said top 2.

Fast forward twelve months, i'll be able to post exactly the same. Bar maybe Sako, who i expect to leave before midnight.

It's not all negative, and as sarcastic as it seems, it's not meant in that nature. The academy is starting to deliver, and i really hope within the next 3 years, we'll have 8-9 homegrown players who are starting week in and week out. That's the vision, a fully sustainable football club, and that's to be commended.

However, i think we're all a little bit pensive about that sort of future. Is there an ulterior motive? If, for instance, Everton came in for Iorfa, with a 2/3 million pound offer based on appearances; would we sell? Absolutely. That's my concern.

I actually think Morgan is a decent guy, with the right intentions. I don't think he's trying to milk the club, and i do believe we're on the right track. However, i'm impatient and want to see the best teams playing at a packed Molineux again. So, pull your bloody finger out Wolves ;)

Just out of interest what would a 10/10 window look like? 2 or 3 additions or more than that?

Pretty much agree with this. The business we have done (Afobe, Kuszchak and Graham in, with Foley, Saville, McAlinden and Sigurdarson out) is all pretty good in my opinion.

Just not quite enough of it to be classed as a really good one...yet...

as it stands we are not pushing for promotion but if it happens fair enough we can take the money. half for the new SB, half for a few players. 4/10

Each to their own but for me a 10/10 would be seeing Sako stay and at least 2 more signings beside Afobe.

    Cracking post.
The state of our bench on Saturday summed it all up for me. The squad is far too weak and lacking in attacking alternatives yet we stand still.

True, if we want to go all out gunning for promotion.

But my mark was 6/10. Just grateful and realistic really, if it ends up how it stands..

Bought Afobe and keeping Sako would is an ok window for me, but not good enough as you say..

I think people want five first team signings and keeping Sako, as well as getting rid of RJ, Doyle, Boukari and whoever else is stealing our money. That would be 9/10.

It would be 10/10 if we swapped Morgan and Moxey for those in charge at Southampton.

Sako staying shouldn't even be mentioned!!

We are trying to go up (apparently) and we all know if Sako goes the chances decrease significantly.

Given he has 6 months left we were never going to get a fee that matched his true value in this market, so to me we should not have even been entertaining the idea of selling him and therefore it shouldn't have concerned our fans.

So really we have signed Afobe, who is too early to judge but looks as though he will be a good signing, however the reality is we needed him and another two first team players IMO.

So we have nowhere near delivered.

3/10 (a third of what we should have done) Or 3.3 recurring :p

As is with Sako here and no more signings 7/10 with added numbers at least a 8 or 9..

People will knock the board regardless but If they keep Sako at the club this window they have to be praised for that, They have said they intend to keep Sako at the club and are willing risk him going on a free which says a lot how important he is to the club now.

If we don't sign anyone and Sako goes It's hard to give anything above 2 although I can understand why they would cash in on Sako unless a replacement doesn't come in they deserve the criticism they get.

Going into it I felt we needed three signings as a minimum; a striker, a no.10 and a winger to cover Sako whilst away and provide more competition afterwards with an upgrade to Clarke if possible and really wanted a 10 out of 10 window.

We've signed a striker - Afobe was on my list, although not first choice, it was a permanent signing. Huge box ticked here.

No.10 - A good no.10 would transform out team completely, it's been painfully obvious yet it looks we're going to do nothing about it despite plenty of options available throughout the window.

Cover for Sako whilst away - how did we not get cover in? It was known all season long yet nothing planned, simply unacceptable and something that needs answering when the window ends, has cost us v Charlton and possibly Bolton.

As things stand 3/10, one out of the three minimum requirements for the window simply is nowhere near good enough.

The board have played the Sako thing well, it looks that only QPR have shown serious interested and according to reports Sako himself put that one to bed. Don't forget part of the reliance on Sako is the lack of strengthening in the summer. They could have touted him around but they'd have had to replace him anyway. No bonus points for keeping Sako so far from me im afraid.

Well with only La Parra being a first team regular & Afobe not being here long & seemingly getting played out of position you would have to say the transfer business by whoever has been very poor. Fair enough we didn't need much so that makes it harder to take.

Saville I didn't expect much but I thought Rowe would be better, that injury at the beginning of the season really knocked him back.

4 for me, one signing and that one we should have made last summer.

No-one is surprised at the lack of activity though, it's been this way for several windows now going back to our last PL season. Morgan is obviously not particularly interested in getting us up, hopefully he'll sell up soon.

9 out of 10 for me. Bought in a young pacey striker which everybody wanted and so far have kept hold of Sako.
