    Hi All,

I've just had a look at the info for the tickets going on sale. I've been going to games match-to-match for years and had a membership last season so I had some loyalty points for those. My new partner didn't, however and has only bought a new one for this year.

But surprised the loyalty points aren't resetting. Was I wrong in thinking they had done in previous years? It seems likely given the demand that there won't be any tickets left if they're rolling over the points from last season and I assume we'll need to buy at the same 'entry point' to get seats together?

Anyone have any suggestions? Bit concerned we've bought memberships that would be useless given the number sold and how many people will have more loyalty points than us.. I don't think it was made very clear when they went on sale that the points would carry over, not very impressed..

Mine don't seem to have rolled over, and I have a new membership for this season - none of the tickets I bought last season are listed in my points.

I think like away tickets the first few homes this year will rightfully go to those with a purchase history last year. Then after the third home game or so it'll be opened up to first members with 20 points, 10 points and then General Sale demand permitting.

    • 150+ loyalty points | Saturday 14th July, 9am
    • 130+ loyalty points | Monday 16th July, 10am
    • 100+ loyalty points | Wednesday 18th July, 10am
    • 50+ loyalty points | Friday 20th July, 10am
    • General Sale | Monday 23rd July, 10am
Interesting that people who have brought new memberships won't get any priority at all... How'd they figure that one out? What's the ****ing point in buying one?

They haven't needed to - we didn't sell out for Middlesborough last year and generally our first home game of the season is pretty poorly attended (holiday's etc). I certainly can't recall the first home game ever selling out before?

Do you think it's fair that someone who attended a fair few games last season is in the same queue as a brand new member?

For away games yeah, especially smaller allocation ones.

Probably never been the need to at home.

I will consider picking up a membership. Had one previously and worked out well getting tickets for games I really wanted to go to.

However being on Sky/BT sport a lot this year will see me save a lot of money....

I attended 3/4 of home games last season. Just did not need a membership last year tbh did not cross my mind. I could only go game by game basis due to my job. I can see why some will be annoyed. New members getting points etc. I feel I deserve to be in same queue. Guessing a lot of others who were in my position would too.

Ground is now obviously too small. Providing we do well, development has to be a priority.

Amazing how so many folks seem to have spare cash to go suddenly? ;)

they'll reset after a few games.

The 100 you get for becoming a member is this season its just the others they are using from last season (as there's been no games yet) for now.

If the tickets were against your supporter number it’s worth buying a membership anyway as it will boost your total by 100 points.

If you attended 3 or 4 last season and got a membership this season for Everton you will be on 130/140 points. They're using the 100 from THIS season but as there's not been any games this season the game points from last season. After a few games in this will change to this season.

Ah right okay. So after a few games everyone just starts with a clean slate? Or everyone starts with any they've earned this season so far?

3/4, meant three quarters. Not 3 or 4 :) easy mistake. I would not billy big b****ks over 3 games.

    What you’ve got this season

It’s done to make it fairer, so new fans can’t just come along in the prem and get tickets over fans who have previously been supporting the club

    Makes sense

Makes it harder for new fans to get a ticket. But there were plenty of opportunities in league one and championship....

Anyone know why points for Reading game do not show? Could it be due to them being part of Norwich game deal?

  24. As I understand it buying a membership now after not attended at least three or four games last season is most likely a complete waste of money.

Oh in that case you'll be well away for Everton tickets. If you're a member. If what your saying is after doing that many games you don't think you should need to become a member....I agree, but if you're doing around that many games that's around the same as me just buy the membership you'll make the money back on the ticket cash thing.

Just checked and I am on 200 points when I finished last year on 190. My son also seems to have gained an extra 10 points and is on 210 as attended one more game than me last year. Anyone else got an extra 10 points or is it just an admin error from the ticket office?

Bought a membership for this season, as it's predictable that crowds will swell and be harder and harder to get decent seats. Might aswell reap rewards of being loyal.

Mine has the same points and added 100 for my membership. Frustratingly only 10 points off the magic 150

By way of a side note, do we know if we get loyalty points for the friendlies?

Season ticket holders have their tickets guaranteed for this game. If you want to bring a friend, they would need to have 150 points (so either attended 15 games last season, or a membership plus 5 games last season)

Don't know why you wouldn't buy one even if you only go to a few games.

Me and the family are on 190 points each carried over from last season with membership renewed for this season. Due to being on holiday for Everton and Man City games plus commitments in September , I don't think we will be able to get up to Molineux until late September, early October. Shame because I would be eligible points wise for early games. If points reset early season and I can't get to the first few home games does that mean I'll be down to 100 and have little chance of getting any home tickets for the rest of the season being behind on the loyalty points gained in 18-19?

Is it worth buying a ticket for loyalty points or do they re-set them anyway during season?
