Depress and Star are reporting that Newcastle have enquired about Kites and Moyes was watching SEB last night.

Dennis Wise was watching Kightly ages ago (remember when Keegan left and Wise wasn't at a press conference as he was at Molineux?). If Kites goes there he wants his head examining!

Moyes was shown in the crowd last night on tv, but I doubt he was enormously impressed by what he saw of SE-B. Still, he's probably about as good as Everton can afford at the moment so I wouldn't be surprised to see a bid come in.

Kightly won't go to a club that consistently flirts with the relegation zone and has managerial turmoil at least twice in a season - he can do better than that.

Moyes was at the game last night but I doubt he could afford SEB who we would want about £5m for - he could probably get Michael Owen for that much from Newcastle seeing as his contract runs out in 6 months time.

If they cant afford SEB then their is no way they will afford Owen.

He may be sold cheap, but his wages will be a major stumbling block. Expect him to turn up at Man City.

  6. I thought SEB did quite well last night linked up well with players around him- scored a goal and sent a brilliantly weighted ball to Jarvis for his goal, he would most certainly have scored 1/2 more if Jarvis had looked up and seen him wide open.

True mate but my point was that I doubt he'd spend that much on an unproven forward when he could maybe pick up a half decent Premier League one for roughly the same amount, or at least one that is proven at that level.

Doyle has scored 1 more than SEB this season and would easily pick up £7m-£8m IMO, admittedly he has proven himself as half decent in the Premier League but I can't imagine SEB being a flop.

Anyone who goes to Newcastle must be bloody nuts.

A 'massive' club (TM all the media) who have won sod all, have a temporary manager in place and an owner who wants rid of the club - how enticing

Everton have no money, yes they need a centre forward, however if Moyes manages to grab enough to buy Ebanks-Blake, will he ?

2 Forwards in Championship Doyle, and SEB.

    Doyle proven Premiership scorer
SEB, unproven gamble that may or may not work.
Everton will need instant returns, they will want someone ready inmmediately.

    Doyle to Everton.
    Hunt to Villa

Cant see Villa buying Hunt when they have Ashley Young and then Barry or Milner to cover him. Hope he goes to someone mind you! Everton to sign Hunt and Doyle to the Villa who need two strikers in the window!!

I heard the reading boys to Villa and Everton but Doyle to Villa

Whether or not it is FACT that Kites and SEB will still be with us after the window, I'd say it's pretty much nailed on after coments from Mick Jez and Morgan - not to mention the players

I do agree, unless someone comes in with an offer we can't refuse and it's doubtful anyone in the prem would over pay as much as they would need to tear them away from our first team

When you look at their VALUE to us at this time, I'd say Man City are the only ones who would pay such an overly inflated price

And they'll be going for PROVEN International players NOT Championship "still to prove" players.

none of our players are going anywhere trademark SM,JM &MM.

  17. Guess we just have to trust that the Wolves hierarchy are true to their word re: not selling.

Was having a drink with my mate who's a Reading fan t'other day and we're both agreed that the danger clubs are Everton and Villa for our two clubs. For the obvious reason that they are fairly established 6-7 clubs who have relatively smalls squads and stable managers so you're likely to get a chance. Whilst I would hope that every player in our team believes we will be promoted this season, even if we go up Villa or Everton would still be a step up the ladder at this moment in time.

Still hopefully the lads here really do want to achieve promotion and long term success with us...and the Reading lads don't.

Everton and Moyes have said that they have no money to spend and will be looking at loans in the January window.

If we get bids of 20 million each for kites and seb, then sell them. Same with the hen. If we get silly money then i wouldnt blame the club for selling. If not, tell them to $$$$ off.

Doyle won't leave Reading in this window imo, his body language seems one very relieved and pleased to have sorted his future out for the season at least.

Hunt is most likely to go, with Bikey and Harper also potential exitees.
