Going head to head with Sky live on SkySports!
Anyone watching his interview on Goals on Sunday? Absolutely tearing Shepherd and Kamara apart.
Hypocritical, bitter, lacking in grace and class but a thoroughly brilliant performance which shows just why his players worship him.
He's on Goals on Sunday and was just ripping into Sky for labelling Costa's actions as 'crimes' in their post match review.
Sorry Sedge, started a thread at the same time.
Bitter, hypocritical, lacking class but a thoroughly brilliant performance which shows why he gets absolute loyalty from his players.
In fairness chelsea have legitimate complaints about how opposition go at hazzard each game. It is disgraceful how much he gets butchered. No skill or class in tackling, they just hack him down. And the refs do $$$$ all about it
He is destroying them. Brilliant TV. Feel sorry for Kamara, like him, the other bloke looks completely out of his depth. Will Sky apologise etc. rarely do interviewers look so lost in response!
He's took Sky to task, and it shows Shepherd will out of his depth. Good on him.
Kammy doesn't know whether to nervous laugh or keep sturm
Ben shepherd so out of his depth
Mourinho is ranting but like usual he has evidence back up his side
What sky should done is have own evidence of Chelsea's good fortune this season
Link wanted ....
I think he had a very valid point though on how the media portray players differently and the impact it can have, we saw/suffered from that ourselves with Karl Henry.
Obviously he's only bothered about it because it's having a negative impact on his team and he almost certainly wouldn't mention it if it was a rival suffering from it but that's understandable.
To be fair, if any other manager did this, people would say he's cracking up. Mourinho gets away with these stunts as "masterful psychology"
Totally agree with Mourinho. He backed up his complaints with fact. Sky, the presenters, failed to do put up any sort of argument.
That challenge on Matic was a disgrace.
I love him. He's so box office Goals on Sunday didn't even book a second guest like they normally do every week.
The guide was saying it was former Everton and Southampton striker James Beattie today.
I'm guessing they had a late call off Jose last night.
Rob McCaffrey would have done a better job interviewing than that.
Well done for him showing Sky bellends up
But they had 3 players dive in one game?? He won't mention that
Small, nasty, obnoxious little man with a sugar daddy to bail him out of failure if and when it comes calling.
He is. If Wolves got taken over by a Billionaire, would we have him as our manager, though? I honestly would.
But it never does, because he's never needed bailing because he's a little special
Saw his post match interview on MOTD last night and all he would say was the game was decided in the 30th, 36th, 50th and 67th minutes (can't remember the times exactly!) and when Lineker and Shearer showed what happened at these specific times JM was quite right in that bad decisions were made by the ref which ultimately screwed Chelsea. He's a very shrewd operator and one of a kind.
I doubt we'd be in the market for him in my life-time but he's a great manager.
we could all be great managers with the money he has to spend,
would love to see him in charge of a club where he has little or no money
then we would see if hes a great manager or not.
The best there is.
He has spent less than van ghoul at united, compare the two clubs..also at porto he won the champions league on a budget which was a fraction of the true giants like Madrid/ Barcelona etc
I suggest you examine his record in Portugal, when he did just that.
Have you forgotten why Chelsea head hunted him in the first place?
What he did with that team was nothing short of remarkable
He is very, very clever at using the media and playing mind games. Sir Alex knew it and paid him the utmost respect in not trying to take him on as he knew they were made from the same DNA. If you take him at face value your missing his whole intent. Watch him knowing what he's up to and you realise he's a genius.
I guarantee like SAF if you met him when he's being himself rather than "working" he would be a completely different person to the one we see in interviews.
Like him or not he is a very smart manager and he has backed up his comments so good on him.
Utmost respect for him as a manager. He appears to be his own man, stands by his team and his decisions, creates excellent teams, and is very media savvy. Plenty of managers have spent more and achieved much less. In modern times, he's up there with Fergie and Guardiola, and to a lesser degree, Wenger. If Wolves had the resources and clout to make him our Manager and support his decisions, I'd be chuffed, but it's not going to happen.
He's the only foreign manager I would ever be happy to take the England job. Phenomenal manager.
It's not exactly hard Jacket is it, watch I'll do it for you.
Fulham have spent 10 years in the premier league, they bought a player for £11m, have internationals & an ex England player in their team. We came up from league 1, they are the favourites & should be expecting to win.
Mind games, KJ give it a go now & then because I still don't think he can step up.
Mourinho is a very clever guy and quite a character too
I have plenty of respect for him
Brilliant manager and I think he is the best there is, or certainly top 3.
However this year I have gone off him, I used to love his interviews and the way he was, this year he has got me thinking of Chelsea like the United under Fergie - and I hated them!
The last two years he got loads of decisions for him and acted with no class and as soon as some go against him he is crying.
Remember the Ramires one against the ****, I laughed because it was against them but come on, was appalling.
The Cahill one this year for diving was a clear red and you don't get a game go by without a Chelsea player crowding the ref or diving.
Also Costa was not picked on by Sky, he stamped on Liverpool players twice and was deservedly handed a ban, Ivanovic could also have been handed a ban just too.
As well as this the football is rubbish! Look how PSG battered them, I know PSG are excellent too but all this money and Chelsea should be going and competing with them blow for blow, not playing like minnows and nicking an away goal.
I am aware that the result was brilliant but Barcelona/Madrid/Bayern wouldn't do that and that is the level Chelsea should be at by now.
No thanks, we had enough of Mick telling us that everyone in the Premier League was better than us.
I would love a manager with his swagger and arrogance who could actually back it up. He is like the Eric Cantona of football managers.
You'd be the first giving him $$$$ if he actually said that.
First I will admit that I don't like the man, so being objective about him is hard. He was loathed in Spain (and I believe in Italy) as they saw through his bluster. In the end most Real Madrid fans realised that in their haste to end Barcelona's hegemony they had made a mistake in appointing him.
Ramon Calderon, an ex Real Madrid president, and someone admittedly with an agenda of his own, never misses an opportunity to have a go at Mourinho over his antics, which most Madrid supporters now find distasteful at best. Calderon also points out, and this is factually correct, that of all the Real Madrid coaches in history who have stayed at that club longer than two seasons, he is the least successful of all time.
Many people who know Mourinho say he is completely different in real-life - that's something he admits himself. That just backs up my own belief that the man has a significant personality disorder. Not to argue with his results record, but he is madder than Mad Jack McMad.
Not really I could see through it, playing the media is all part of being a coach at the top level. Look how it partly destroyed us giving our players a thug tag & being classed as a dirty team. Our game changed after that & we lost a bit of fight that showed up the lack of quality.
All KJ has done is mention promotion which I don't think has gone down well on here.
