Shortest and most pointless interview ever?
Just said that all our young lads are under contract and won't be going anywhere. Also that it would be good to get one over on Blues tomorrow...
Doing the rounds a bit this week isn't he? Are we doing well or something?
Stressing the point that none of our stars are for sale.
Whoever the plank speaking now (sounds like Claridge) just said we have 'good lower level players' and it 'must have been hard work for Mick to get them playing to this level'... what a $$$$. They all agreed we'd lose tomorrow as well. Why does everyone hate us?!
Claridge makes it so painful to listen to R5 which is a shame as they get some good guests on and I quite like listening to David Pleat bizarrely.
Don't have to hate us just because they think we'll lose JB. Just their opinion. I happen to agree with them but I'm a fan.
claridge can't quite forgive us for not loving him, despite him being crud in a wolves shirt
Agree with you on David Pleat. One of the few 'experts' to offer anything more than the usual "United need need to score if they want to get back in the game" drivel (in spite of his 'indiscretions')
He's an idiot.
Heard him a few weeks ago when a female guest was arguing why it was important that managers had some "management" qualifications before they got jobs.
He wouldn't have it at all....thought that someone like Ince should walk into a job because of their footballing history.
She said..."you wouldn't let your best bank cashier become Chief Executive just because they've worked at the bank for 20 years would you Steve"
He lost it and got quite ratty...said she didn't understand football because it was "different".
She asked him why it was different..and he spluttered on about experience and she told him he was talking complete rubbish and an example of ex-footballers didn't understand the business they were working in, so shouldn't play any part in appointing managers.
I heard him arguing with that woman as well Blah Blah. If he has a debate with anyone who has not been a professional footballer, he dismisses them and tells them they know nothing. He will never actually explain why his point is correct. He's obviously just bitter as his managerial career has been a shambles.
One of the worst ever managers in the history of the game and clearly totally uneducated.
I often have to turn the radio off for fear of launching it out the window when he starts ranting. He struggles to articulate and gets quite shirty.. Clearly thick as pig$$$$ to boot.
He's still bitter about Wolves. His biggest club as a player and he flunked it.
Del Woppio likes him (I believe). Made him a TV star.
