Hello everyone it's your uncle Ned.

A difficult subject where I hope no one is made a scapegoat, but let's face it no one wants to buy our loaned out players (Mir the exception) and January is 8 weeks away so.. who do you see leaving?

Romain Saiss: nothing wrong with the guy but he ain't been in squad for a few weeks and he was going to be 'Mr Utility' this year to cover CB and CM but looks like Leo Dend will do that job and even Hause is on bench before him for CB and MGW is in front for CM.

Leo Bonatini: Got a lot of stick but we need a striker in January. (So much so that if we just got a decent striker in Jan and that was it, I would be content). Surely we could get a few million from a half decent champ side.

    After that who else leaves?

I wouldn't be overly surprised to see either of those two depart. Something has to give in an attacking sense especially - perhaps Raúl aside, has anyone else in that department made an outstanding case for a long term future at the club at this level?

I can see Costa, Bonatini and Traore all departing in the summer (we'll take a £10m hit on Traore, who was the most ridiculous signing of all time) with perhaps two of those three leaving in January.

I can't see us signing anybody major until the summer - this season is now very similar to the Zenga one and we will just drift to enough points for survival.

Big mistakes have been made (again) and I expect Fosun to make things right as soon as the season ends.

Can't see Bonatini going for at least another year, unless he choses too himself.

I'd just let Bonatini go really - he's simply not good enough for us.

Saiss is still required in my opinion. I think he'd be useful in some games because Moutinho and Neves are too similar and Saiss offers an alternative.

Dendoncker is the great unknown. If he'd hit the ground running, Saiss could safely be sold.
Neither of them can be too thrilled at the moment, especially Saiss.
I can't see much of a market for Bonantini. My concern with him is that he's stopping Ennis and Seal getting a look in.

We only have a small squad, so even someone like Saiss who isn't featuring is only one or two injuries away from being on the bench at least. I think it depends on whether Saiss, Bonatini, Hause etc are happy just being on the bench all the time. If they're happy doing that then I don't really see anyone leaving. The main focus should be on bringing quality in.

I’d happily keep Leo. Did a good job Saturday sorting those two penalties out.

My spotlight is very much on our wide forwards who have been collectively
    Ineffective so far.

I’d want a more physical midfielder for sure and I could see a left wing back come in too.

If there’s better out there in any position I’m all for it of course.

Saiss - depends whether he wants to go or not.

    This.

Raul is already our 20 goal a season striker. It’s the other forwards that need to step up

One of the most barmy posts seen on here for many months.
Costa and Traore will play key parts for us in the future.
Traore has barely played for us yet and has already shown he can create chances and frighten the opposition. Costa is class but needs more consistency. Yet you would sell them. Incredible. BONKERS.

I can see us selling one of our wide forwards to make room in the squad to bring another one in.
Other than that I don't see anybody going. We haven't got enough people up front to let Bonatini go.

    Norris
    Hause
    Saiss
    Bonatini

All the above can go as far as I am concerned. Also, it has to be said, if we are truly ruthless in our goal to become a top Premier League side, then I think Costa and Jota you could make a case to be sold and improved on if they do not adjust by the summer. They have both been very poor. Jota in particular, which I did not expect.

Be interesting to know how long Jota has been carrying this injury. I'd keep Jota. Only 21, and i think he will come good. Dont think he has been as poor as gets made out, but things defiantly aren't coming off for him. Costa i think we could afford to sell if we get a good enough offer.

I think it will happen too if there current form continues. I desperately want to be wrong because I love the two of them. Jota was magic for the first 70% of last season but his decline is a concern as is Costa's inconsistency.

    Why?

We don't know how much money we've got to spend and they haven't exactly set the world on fire in the Prem. If we can get better we should try to. It would be no different to what we did with Douglas and Afobe.
