Well done to him. In a way I think he has been the catalyst that restarted our season.

Great news for Dom but I thought Hause had been in previous squads

I agree....definitely invigorated us when it looked like it was going a bit flat.

    Has been superb.

Brilliant news. No offence to Doherty but I would love to see him back in the team for Forest.

We are tighter at the back with Matt and Scott at the minute

    Thoroughly deserved.

I pray Iorfa is still here when he makes his full international debut.

Didn't Iorfa come into the team just before Christmas?

Doc played at LB v Bournemouth with Iorfa making his debut at RB. Doc got sent-off so Hause made his debut in the next match.

Would prefer Iorfa/Batth/Stears/Golbourne to be our defence but still think Hause could become a top centre-half (as could Iorfa if he goes back there).

Think the same myself to be fair. Iorfa, Batth, Hause, Golbourne as a long term back four I'd guess. Although Golbourne's not exactly young

One or both of the two lads has been in the side for most of the 19 league games since Bournemouth. Hause has had 14 starts plus once off the bench while Iorfa has had 13 starts. In that time our record has been excellent:

    P19 W11 D5 L3 F33 A14 Pts 38

Whether they are better than Doherty and/or Golbourne at this point in time is a matter of opinion but undeniably both have made very good contributions to our excellent recent form.

He was caught out of position a lot though. In the first half almost all of Derby's attacks came down Matt's side.

How I saw it too. He's too aggressive on the tackle so often mistimes his challenge and Derby were loving it.

Iorfa is far superior defensively , but Doherty is so much stronger attacking. I'm happy with either, great competition in this position.

I did think when it looked like Stears was badly injured that maybe it was Iorfa's time to step forward and make one of those CB spots his own. Thankfully Stearman was fine but I think when Dom gets his chance he will take it with both hands. Excellent player

Never seen him at cb. My only concern is whether he is strong / big enough in terms of pushing and shoving.

I have watched the game 3times and cannnot agree at all Watch it back and I think you may re assess As for the controversial situation with Danny never a sending off not even a foul It is a contact sport

I just think Doherty gets beats too easily or plays too narrow so they have too much space to cross. Golbourne is the one that has his distances perfected and knows when to back off or when to press on.

Will have to watch the game again though, that's for sure.

I thought Doherty was decent on Friday, rarely got beaten, good in the air and solid in the tackle. There was one hairy moment when he mis-timed a header which let Derby in and he probably allowed the wingers to get crosses in a few too many times (though this is Derby and without Martin, crossing isn't their game, could be why he was showing the wingers wide a lot of the time)

Saw it as a foul just about, but far from sending off offence as Bent was unlikely to get ball, and was running away from goal.

Mistake by ref, however, not to play advantage. The players did stop when they heard the whistle so Ince would have been under more pressure if he hadnt blown.

They both played the full 90 minutes last night it seems, at centre back do we think?

Played 3 at the back with those playing as the right/left centre backs.

Both on the bench today, I assume at the request of the club.

Both started last game so I would imagine its just a case if squad rotation, trying to find the strongest England starting 11
