Can burnley get something at the kc ? Which sunderland team will turn up ? I'm going for 2 draws setting us up nicely for sunday .

Two draws would be perfect, worst results would be a West Ham and Hull victory...would even accept a Burnley win as gap would remain the same to bottom 3.

Perfect would be a Burnley win and a Sunderland win, surely? It denies Hull any points and it puts Burnley level with Hull but Hull having a better goal difference and a game in hand and Sunderland are safe anyway.

  4. Yep- that would be the ideal

Pressure is really on Hull - if they don't win this I can't see them staying up

Burnley and Sunderland to win please. Sunderland aren't in relegation fight, Burnley won't get out even if they win this IMO.

I think Hull will win though and it'll be squeeky bum time for us. Just have to hope West Ham carry on dropping points...

As much as I'd like them to, I really can't see Burnley getting anything from the Hull-game. They are simply to terrible away from home.

So we don't think we can catch Sunderland then? ;)

No. We don't think Burnley or Hull can catch them.

I cant see past 2 home wins for these games unfortunately.

Saying that, we cant expect all our rivals to lose all of the time.

Its still quite simple really, no matter what happens on saturday, we beat Stoke and we will stop up. No doubt about it.

Don't care who they can catch as long as they can't catch us. Would also like to finish as high as possible, so would like to see Sunderland drop points too and finish above them.

Hull to win and W ham to draw would be the best result - if only to see the spunk daddies get into a lather, start criticising their team and watch the Wham message board go into meltdown once again!!

Of course followed by us winning on Sunday!

Agree with that Sedge, we win = very bad news for all the others.

I have a funny feeling Burnley will get something. Stating the obvious but if they lose, that's really it for them as Hull will be out of touch. If they get at least a point they remain in distance of Hull (albeit Hull have the game in hand) and they will hope for West Ham to drop points. They will be twists and upsets over the next few weeks - let's desprately hope this is one of them.

It's do or die for Burnley, let's hope the rouses them and they play their hearts out...

for one game, and then go back to being $$$$. [unless they play any more of our rivals, in which case they can win.]

I dread to think what the score will be in the reverse fixture if they can hold them away from home ;):D

Whatever happens in those games, our future in this league is firmly in our own hands. What more could we ask for.

  21. Hull v Burnley is the biggest banker home bet of the weekend - you can get a bit of 4/5 on this - steam in...

They still need a point at least to avoid equaling the worst ever top flight away record

With the talk of Laws getting the chop soon and problems in the Burnley dressing-room Hull won`t get a better chance to win but who knows i think they could get something as they know its their last chance.

West Ham on other hand i predicted they would draw against Everton (wish i bet on that now) will win at home.

A late equaliser for Sunderland would be nice right now.

Pity Sunderland couldn't find an equaliser, but I'll settle for Hull getting drubbed. Let's win tomorrow and have a stress free end of season.

A win tomorrow to put us effectively 9 points clear of danger with Hull having only 5 games to play would surely be enough.

After West Ham got that point last week I expected them to get something today, and expected us to be going into tomorrow's game only 2 points clear of the drop zone.

Nice to be wrong on the main count!(although Hull have screwed my bet up). Surely if we needed two wins before today to be absolutely certain, one should be enough now.

    Portsmouth Relegated
Burnley as good as down, even after today
Hull looked finished and losing against Burnley helps us and virtually dooms Hull

  39. God, I hope you're right mate. We so need to stay in the division. I really hope we get 3 points tomorrow to keep the feel good factor going.

    Well Portsmouth have gone,
Burnley are not going to get any favours from anyone else apart from Hull
Hull have been sinking for some while

Hull and Burnley are running out of games, confidence and ability to turn their current poor form around. We have points in the bag, better goal difference and better form, I am not sure we need any more points to be safe, just a hunch.

Lets hope the team gets three precious points tomorrow and that will seal it for me, but even one point is more than enough.:D
