personally i think we will sell him in january, but to whom arsenal , spurs ?

ikeme is good enough to take over.

i hear waynes attitude has been a little ' billy big time' and mick aint happy ?

£6m at least, im sure big jez will do a decent deal .

i hope he doesnt go and we keep the squad together but if the rumours are correct he will be off.

Hope you're wrong - how good is it to have Hen and Ikeme - but I'm sure if he does go Jez will do a good deal.

Is this the same Wayne Hennessey being 'billy big time' as the one who has come out and proclaimed that no matter who is in goal they all support each other every step of the way? The same Hennessey who Mick has praised for his attitude and hard work in training?

This falling out nonsense is due to a bunch of national tabloids deciding that the only reason we'd drop one of our best young players is because he'd have had a falling out with the manager, rather than the fact he was just plain $$$$e for the games he started earlier in the season.

Hennessey has kept two clean sheets successively and his confidence improves by the game - he won't be going anywhere, the number one spot is his again. The sooner people stop creating these "Will Hennessey stay?" threads the better - Mick has claimed nobody will be leaving in January who is important to this squad, I think Hennessey falls in to that category quite safely!

its not from the national tabloids.

Well Hennessey has come out and said nobody has fallen out, Mick has come out and said that Wayne has worked hard in training and earned his place back and Matt Murray has even rubbished the reports of a fall out. Excuse me for being more inclined to believe them than your 'source'.

If Murray had stayed fit then there would have been a chance for the right money.
    Now,no chance.

Besides if Hennessey was being 'billy big time' then he wouldn't have been in goal on Saturday with a fully fit Carl Ikeme on the bench.

Is rather doubtful we'd read "it's true me and Mick have had a massive bust up, just go and ask Matt Murray and Carl Ikeme, it's gotten out of control and I can't wait till January" though, but take your point ;)

I really don't know what to think at the moment. dr doesn't seem the kind to chat $$$$ for no reason, but at the same time I tend to have the same opinion as wolv3. I will be surprised if he leaves to be honest.

Wether it was a sub-concious slip or not BUT when asked in his prematch interview on Friday about how he was going to approach the Spurs / Man u game on Saturday, Harry Redknap said that instead of watching his own team perhaps he should 'go and watch Wolves.' Why? (just to add to the conspiracy)

  13. did Harry *actually* say that? Bit weird.

If we got offered silly money for Wayne I'd take it. Ikeme is a very good first choice keeper, Matt will be back (probably as a bench warmer) for next season, so we just need a loanee for Jan-May to keep the bench warm (or give Higgs a challenge for that role).

Too big a risk in my opinion. If Ikeme gets crocked then we're stuffed in the GK dept.

I'd consider selling Wayne but only in June when our fate is known and we can take our time finding a replacement.

I'd be amazed if Matt ever plays for us again, sad as it is to admit.

I think that if Hennessey was Billy Big Biscuits earlier in the season, a stretch on the bench should have knocked that out of him...If not, I've got no issue with him leaving at all, especially for a decent fee.

Stephen Bywater is warming the bench at Derby mostly, get him in and let him warm the bench here instead.

 So, let me get this straight. In Wolverhampton, no-one knows for certain what's happening. In Australia however, it's a racing cert that Wayne is staying! Well blow me down. ;)

Well, seeing as Australia lives about 10 hours in the future, some new information is obviously released in tonight's E&S that Mugwump is already privy to.:)

I'd be more worried if the bloke who said McIndoe was leaving/Stearman was signing said that Hennessey was on his way.

What doesn't help things is that $$$$ing welsh manager who feels the need to talk about Hennessy playing in The Prem and moving on all of the time. If he could keep his mouth shut Wayne could get his head right and we can all go on together. I $$$$ing hate that $$$$ Toshack, if I ever meet him he'll get a volley of abuse the fat $$$$.

    Hopefully he'll stay...

I doubt very much we would sell and i'd be surprised if he's getting too big for his boots and he doesn't come accross that way in his actions or words.
However, he's not good for the team im afraid because the defence are wary of lofted balls into the box because he won't come off his line and claim them consistently. It's causing uncertainty and other teams have clearly spotted this weakness in their approach. If he doesn't work on that side of his game, i'd rather he go and we get the over the odd's money for him. Ikeme gave me more than enough confidence to have him as No 1 after his spell in the team.

Mick, Moxey and Morgan say we're not selling anyone, therefore he's staying. Now can we stop these speculative threads once and for all!

Sorry, i cant give you lot in England any more information from the future. It could disrupt the space time continuum. I`ve already took a big risk telling you Hennesey will stay :D

How many times have we got to go over the same ground? MM has made it clear again and again that NOONE of consequence is leaving in January. Murray's injury makes it obvious that we can't afford to lose Hennessey, one of the best goalkeeping prospects in the whole country. Please can we ban any further posts on this subject. It is now getting beyond boring and is entirely negative. Dr Cool, unless youir source is Jez Moxey or Mick McCarthy please 'fermez la bouche' on this tiresome subject.
