Probably the right thing to do, not good enough for us really and we might as well get a fee for him.

Villa preparing for Championship football for next season too :D

You’d imagine that we’ll have someone coming in then. One injury would leave us desperately short.

He’s never ever let us down. I think he’s quality and I think we should keep him. Good luck to the lad though

Always liked Kourtney but he's not going to get a look in at Wolves now unfortunately. I'm assuming we'll be charging c£10m for a Premier League centre-half.

When he's came in he's performed really well I've thought. Only young too, good luck to him if he goes.

Can only presume we're lining up a CB this window then

Was thinking about him the other day, it’s a deceptively long time now that he’s been at Wolves, I remember him being quite a regular under Jackett, and was thinking surely he needs to start playing regularly if he’s gonna progress. Didn’t he get some England U21s caps? I’d prefer we loaned him really and had the chance of getting him back next year if he does well. Probably only going to get a reasonably nominal fee otherwise.

He’s stagnating with us, through no fault of his own, he needs regular game time so it sounds like a good move for him.

I agree. Not the finished article maybe but I think he will get there. Never let us down, shame to see him go.

With Saiss, the Donk and the possible emergence of Kilman he looks surplus to requirements but would still like one more in if we are to let him go as you want 3 senior CB’s to call upon with our system

Pepe for a season or two will do fine

Don’t think he’s out our standard currently but would have kept him around for sure, reliable, shame that he goes to them.

Really good signing for Villa and Hause is getting to the age where he needs to play every week.

Hopefully the fee is a fair reflection of his potential from our POV.

They’ve got themselves a very good centre back if so. Just not quite good enough for us currently.

Good luck to him. He has the attributes to have a good career, just not sure he reads the game well enough to make it at the top level though. Might come with age, Craddock a prime example of this.

Nice we can remind Villa they’re relying on our cast offs :p Mind the gap.

Would have got more game time if not for imperious form of our back 3. Must have someone coming in or we'd be severely short if we had an injury. Pepe anyone? :D

Shame really as his best years are ahead of him, certainly has all the attributes, maybe he needs a change of club
The Pepe rumour seems to be gathering pace, so maybe this all has legs

I hope he gets some games if he does go, wherever he goes. He's 23 so he's not really a young player anymore. Still plenty of years left, but at 23 he should be looking at regular football.

Hopefully he will make a few mistakes and cost them goals as well as doing more damage to the FFP they have looming over them,

Still think he has all the attributes to be a good Premier League defender. Massively unfortunate to have Boly blocking his route to the side.

From what I see on social media, he needs to spend less time ****ing about thinking he’s a rapper and more time concentrating on football

We’ve had a few good ones off them tbf. Mountfield, Birch, Cowans (although he did come via Derby?), Michael Oakes (some might debate)

You can do more than one thing these days, after training footballers do have free time to enjoy their hobbies...

Neymar has been found to have over 2000 hours put into a video game called csgo, that hasn't seemed too impact his career all too much now has it?

Hause has done really well when called upon, it's not his fault Boly is the player in front of him, cut him some slack...

I've always hated selling anyone to our local rivals. I wish him all the best but not the club he is going to play for. So in effect I'm struggling to wish him any luck at all.

Pity as at 23 he can still go on to great things and has an excellent pedigree. I hope for once we are getting a decent fee for a very good young player. £4M minimum surely? Any less would be very disappointing to put it mildly. Still getting over the ridiculously low fee for Douglas.
    Very good buy for Villa.

He needs the games at this stage of his career and even though he has potential to do very well he's not at the level we need right now (which is bloody high). Victim of circumstance here in some ways unfortunately. Hope he's outstanding for Villa as they just miss out on the play offs this year and get relegated next :D

Someone must be on their way in

He played 7 minutes of first team league action last season, in a team that regularly started Danny Batth, 0 minutes this year. I know we have a tendency on this forum to hype all the kids up to being future international greats, but objectively, he’s not worth anything over £1m.

Hope we make sure the money is paid up front... we know they have form in not paying their bills!

If Pepe is incoming on a free but high wages, the sale fee for Haus, combined with his saved wages, should go some way to paying the likely wages for Pepe.
