    Tomorrows fixtures

    Blackburn v Tottenham
    Blackpool v W Ham
    Liverpool v Stoke

Looking at that set of fixtures, if you are going up in car (like me ) which I guess a lot of us will be I would leave extra time for journey as the M6 is going to be a nightmare!!!

More importantly though is that Man Utd are at home tonight not tomorrow :D. Otherwise it really would of been a nightmare!!

Fill your car full of petrol, beer, sandwiches, crisps etc - and an empty hot water bottle, Burton.

This way you can avoid stopping at service stations, thus avoiding any potential trouble.

You could take your scarf off if you do stop, but I wouldn't expect that from a seasoned Wolves fan.:D

Can't get a train back so we're going by car. Heard someone mention the Beehive? How far is it from the ground and can you leave the car there?

Straight up the hill past the ground on a main roundabout. It's got a car park at the back but I'd expect it to be busy

Last year we drank inside the hotel in the ground. There was only me and the mrs and about 5 other Wolves fans in there but the beer was good and the fans were friendly.

We did stay in the hotel after the game so it was easy for us to get in (the bar is at the away fans end), but i'm sure if you've got enough about you, you could blag your way in!

We parked outside away end in the car park last season, bit crap getting out mind. Jack if you follow the road off the motorway past the ground the beehive is at the next island.

Last year drank in the Bromilow Arms. Great pub about 50/50 spilt of fans, all friendly. About a 10 min walk away from the ground.

Is outside away end only place to park ?

Anyone aware of places safe and local but quick to get away from after the game?

Just over 1600 according to the official site, might make that up to 2000 with a bit of luck

I hadn't realised it was only £20 for adults! Seems poor that we've only sold 1600, must have been twice that last year?

I promised the mrs that Chelsea was the last game we'd be going to in her late stages of pregnancy....i've already persuaded her to go to the City of Manchester and see our lackluster game against Liverpool...one more game wouldn't hurt...would it?

Think we took closer to 4300 last year. Had the top and half of the bottom tier.

This year we've just got the lower. See you up there Bromsgrove...

  32. My dad's friend, who's a Bolton fan, told us to park in an industrial estate near the ground if we wanted a quick getaway afterward. Supposedly some of the units allow you to park in their car parks for a few quid.

He said to avoid the stadium car park like the plague as it can take up to 2 hours to get out after the game! Given that even with a quick getaway we won't be home until about 2.30am at the earliest, there's no chance we'll be risking that!

Looking to go tonight, im in Sheffield. Getting a train to Horwich is easy enough, but after the game there is a 2 hour wait untili even get on a train, anybody know a better way of getting out?
Also do i need to leave myself plenty of time to pick a ticket up from their ticket office?

The pub I mentioned has a car park but don't know if it points you in the direction for a quick getaway.
