Does anyone know what has happened to the giant 'Chaucer' shirt that used to be paraded across the heads of fans in The JH stand before games? Does the club own it?

I was told that the Chaucer transfer peeled off immediately after it was washed.

Somebody complained to Health & Safety about it. Whilst another boring old fart complained that it blocked his view of the players warming up.

Might not be as daft as you think.

Actually we were outside a pub about 2 minutes walk from the Keepmoat. In spite of various folks on the Pubs for Doncaster Thread saying there weren't any.

He's not all that large isn't SBB-UK by the way.

It was the fact that folks had said there wasn't one that I was trying to point out.

Bloody hell mate, did you beast the rest of the guys to get to the ground in 2 minutes?

As a pub I can't comment because it was that busy I couldn't be bothered to get a beer there.

    Pedant.

If you recall we were supposed to be meeting in some Leisure Centre pub that was a "brisk" 10 minutes walk away but the nearest Wolves friendly pub, according to those in the know.

The last I heard about the shirt was the the wolves marketing bloke (who left -forgot his name) was going to sneak it in to the Whorethorns for the semi final away leg. It didn't make a show though. I can't remember it last season???

Id imagine it would take some major sneaking in, it must be huge even packed up.

Similarly I tried to blow up an inflatable penis at that game, and the stewards weren't best impressed.

Based around a pedants view that a "two minute walk" takes 120 seconds. Just like when you tell the wife "I'll only be a minute" you'll really only take 60 seconds.

Based on the view that I was impressed that you managed to get to the ground from that pub in 2 minutes coupled with the physical condition of the assembled throng.

Time for me to concede so the debate doesn't become too boring.

By the way how's Amy, did Santa bring her anything good?

It wasn't meant to be a debate, just an observation.

As for Amy and her siblings they're at their mum's until tomorrow so I won't see them until they come round with their dad on Saturday.

They were all ok when I saw them yesterday thanks.
