Harry Kane and Aguero £10 on both to be top scorer (two separate bets before the smart arses comments) . Every time one of them score I get a free £5 bet. Beautiful.

Championship a deadly league to call. Possibly kiss of death to include that in an acca. Head says Stoke, but so many strong teams, and I fancy Derby, Swansea or Leeds to push for it.

Interested to see the Derby team tonight, in terms of odds of anytime scorers. Bennett good value if he starts up front, and Mount too.

I am going with football index this season instead of betting. You buy shares in players and earn dividends over the season depending on how those players perform in games and how often they appear in the media. As well as this the player values can go up and down, but if you have earned enough dividends from those players it can end up being pure profit.

Dunno how it is gonna go, we'll see. I have done okay with the media dividends so far not played any matches yet though so I dunno if my players will earn anything from there.

Tonight I’ve got Derby to win 2-1 at 9/1 and put a couple of quid on Mount to score at 10/1.

Had a 25 fold at over 1.5 gpg on the europa league last night.

23 came in and the other two finished 1-0 - just over a grand that would have been.

That'll teach me to read a thread first!

My mate was one of the earliest to sign up to it a couple of years ago and has made a small fortune on it, he has been banging on at me to sign up which I did in May, I've put a fairly decent wedge in and I've got an 18.6% return on my investment already.

Traditional gambling is cool but the house always wins in the end, this Index seems a crazy way to earn money if you are willing to put a bit in

Definitely. I made a mistake early on by going for relatively unknown players in the hope they would increase, I have since found that the money is in the dividends which are earned by higher profile players. Harry Maguire has netted me a decent return on media dividends this last week, but his actual value has hit the floor. I am hoping it will recover once the season starts and I will sell him on to fund a striker or goalkeeper.

I'd stay away from goalkeepers, they don't do so well in terms of PB dividends from what my mate has told me and from what I saw during the World Cup, my dividends have been quite modest so far but I'm geared up for PB more than media buzz so hopefully when the season starts I'll start to get a bit in.

There seems to be a lot of money going on future stars at the moment, most of the highly rated youngsters have shot up massively in value recently so it might be worth getting in early on the next wonderkid and sitting on him for a year or so, I've seen people raking in some mental increases on the young uns they got in on early

Ah right. See I started after the world cup so I haven't seen any team of the weeks or anything like that yet. My thinking was that goalkeepers would have more chance of getting into the best player lists.

No they use the OPTA stats to work out the performance points and only the top striker, midfielder, defender and top scoring player overall earn dividends, the keepers are lumped in with defenders who always seem to score more points, ball playing centre halves are best cos they have high passing stats and score highly, Sergio Ramos is a bit of a beast when it comes to defenders, he earned me the most dividends from players at the World Cup and Spain went out early.

It's best to have a spread of players from each position and from teams playing in Europe as there is more chance of earning dividends

Looks like Genting Bet are doing a £10 free bet every time they score for a £20 stake. New customers only though.

Edit: Only August goals. Thought it looked too good.
