Apparently the winners of our tie with Blues will be number 4 in this afternoon's draw.

So who do we think Blues will get?

Be interesting to know if a big draw would make a difference to the way either side approaches the rescheduled match.

    I think it would.

Also a home tie v a non league or lower league side might tempt both sides to go for it as a 5th place would look likely.

If blues got to the 5th round they could buy undersoil heating.

We were saying that on the way back from the "lost cause" yesterday. "At least we'll know who we might be up against" being the phrase used.

Worst possible draw imho. Morgan would insist Mick plays strongest side v Blues. I'd prefer a lower league/Championship team away so that the incentive to win isn't so strong. I hate saying it, but we can do without the distraction of the cup this year.

I was thinking the same thing.
If we drew Manure or Chelski at home would those who think we should play our reserve side still feel the same way.

With Reading out there will be a free weekend on the 24th for them - only 3 days before our massive game. Personally, that's a big worry for me - they'll have at least a week between games.

Unless we get a plum draw I wouldn't be at all surprised to see us play a weakened team at Blues, at least that's what I hope. Any Championship side away and I think our attentions will turn to the league.

I don't really want us to progress in the cup - as it'll hinder our chances of promotion and my chances of watching it...but at lunchtime on Saturday I couldn't physically bring myself to hope we lost. In my heart of hearts, I really want us to win.

I've a sneaky feeling we'll get Boro - not sure why. That said, a $$$$$$$$ Chelsea fan was trying to start a fight with me on the tube on Saturday night as I was wearing a Wolves scarf, so I wouldn't mind a crack at putting them out a silencing a few gobby Southerners that I have to ensure down here.

    But will you go Coops?

Is it incentive enough or do we still want to concentrate on the League?

Should be a good test for the players against a lower half of the table Prem side, and they're not glamorous enough to warrant full ticket prices.

Where's this mentioned? Boro wouldn't bring more than 3000 anyway.

One of my best mates is Boro fan, so big incentive for me - especially after he was giving it the big one about how SEB hasn't played in a 'proper league' this morning.

If it's a Saturday game mate, I'll be there anyway.

Still worried about that 24th weekend that Reading have free though.....I'm torn to be honest.

When is the Mol Hotel going to be finished? End of the season I hope - gives Jez an excuse not to hand over our home end ;)

Didnt realise we got through to 4th round yet!

  35. I'm sure our players will be very much up for playing against a premiership team - especially one who could be seen as beatable, and I would've thought Mick will be of the same mindset. The prospect of Reading having a longer break than us is a bit of a problem though!

And we (if we do get through) will have had a tricky Cup-tie to play.

    Let Blues have it?

Wolves vs. Boro would be a good game of football.

But I'd hate to play Reading away only three days after it. Therefore, put the kids in against Blues.
