Nice if it happens.
Yes, hope it does, be best for all concerned.
Definitely. Doyle tends to divide opinion, doesn't seem wanted by KJ and is costing a lot for literally nothing as such so makes sense.
It would be a huge result
1 Doyle off our books and money in the pot.
2 Boro dry up in front of goal and drop down the table.
He hits the post again
At least he's been out on loan so his wages are covered, it could be another type of Foley deal where they pay up his contract as the fee & give him a 2 year deal or so. They won't pay more than 10k a week though at the very best.
Best for all parties if he leaves ASAP.
I asked the question a couple of weeks ago whether due to the reduced numbers in the bomb squad Steve Hodge was still here?
I don't think anyone replied.
Does anyone know?
No I dont but it could be that he is in the pub with our Rog.
I guess he's keeping Rodge company until something happens?
Not sure how the Sutton Coldfield Observer got such a scoop but if true, would be a great move for Doyle.
How is this best for everyone???
Selling him to positional rival
Even one goal before now and may for boro maybe the difference
Big fat no from me
Or...he hits the post just once. Big fat yes from me!
Ipswich & Mick would love to take him but cannot afford his wages - O'hara must have taken a big pay cut to go with Blackpool - so Kevin how about it - regular football step into McGoldricks shoes?
Why help rivals? Doyle is not a totally spent force by any means. If we have another good striker ready to come in then perhaps ok as long as all wages being covered but I doubt that very much.
lol , wind up surely ?
1, he doesn't score
2, he's on an estimated 40k a week
3, he will never play for wolves again
Lol lol lol got to be a wind up we8wba?
In his 5 seasons for us Golden he averaged 34 games a season and 6 goals a season. Dave Edwards has scored 6 this season and he's a midfielder.
He's out of contract at the end of 2015 and I wish him all the best.
If it frees up £40k a week I’d take the small risk he actually helps a rival. It’s unlikely he’ll play for us if he stays so thanks for your efforts Kevin but the time to part company is here.
I'll drive him there.
I doubt there is any substance to the report. It's not the first time he's been linked with Boro, and nothing came of it last time. If true, and it happens, then I'd also take the risk that he helps them out, but think he's unlikely to make a significant impact.
Get him off the books while we can (EASIER SAID THAN DONE)
I can't see the problem myself. We can't worry about what other teams do we can only concentrate on what we do as a team.
If any championship side came in with cash for Doyle now I can't believe that any fan would say no. roger Johnson might improve a championship defence but I don't imagine too many here would oppose him moving.
Let's just clear out the last of them.
Ah go on go on go on go on
Please let this happen.
Good lad, Doyle, but hasn't done anything on a football pitch in ages. Literally.
The guy is finished at Wolves so get rid if we can, save the dollar
Ditto, get rid asap!
