carnt for one mintute think it will happen. But what happens if we loose the first 7 or 8 games at the start of season.

A lot of people of talking us up. I just hope me don’t fall foul of this and the players think they just need to turn up. I don’t expect this with how we approached last season.

But can anyone see a situation that nuno could be sacked next season. I.e bottom at Christmas.

stranger things have happend Leicester won the premier league and then sacked raneria

No matter what happens this season nuno has my full support

Of course. 12 straight defeats, no goals scored, falling attendances, media ripping the ****.

His feet wouldn’t touch the ground on the way out.

****ing hell he aint even got to manage 1 game in the PL yet. Let him do his job without question of his future and let's enjoy the ride. If we finish 17th and lose most weeks next season I'd still want Nuno here. His vision for the future and philosophy of football is something I have never seen at Wolves and long may it continue.

I want him to stay for the next five years but cannot see it happening. He'll be out of the door because Man United or Liverpool will come calling.

Be interesting to see how the first 7 or 8 fixtures come out , because the perception of " success" will be different if those 7 or 8 contain the "big 6" or otherwise

Surely the answer lies with us, if we turn on him because of results then the same will happen that happened with Pulis at the ****. Personally I couldn't see any scenario next season that would make me start wanting Nuno out, except maybe if the forward line for our first game next season is Mason and Gladon.

Have no doubt there will be difficult stages of the season. What we as supporters need to do is shut down any negativity towards Nuno immediately. He is our future. Let's not get onto a situation where we are having to be careful what we wish for.

We wont lose the first 7 or 8 games.
We already have a squad capable of premiership survival and the early signs are that we will not lose key players.
Moxey is no longer at the club and the days of shambolic preparation for the new season are over.
We now have ambitious, intelligent owners with financial clout and powerful contacts.
We will strengthen over the summer.
Ultimately the future of Nuno just like any other manager depends on results.

A poor start would be 7 or 8 points from the first 7 or 8 games IMO.

I agree, but I do wonder how successful his "Team first ethic" would be at a huge club. Big players like their big egos massaged and that's not what Nuno does....no one is bigger than the team. I wonder how successful he would be.

It's the "Project" and it will be given an appropriate amount of time to grow organically. Fosun will continue to learn about football, but are unlikely to replicate what the "instant success dinosaurs" keep doing with their knee jerk sackings. Yes, their model of using Wolves as a global marketing tool requires success, a team competing at the top end of the the PL table, and they will work together as a team, to support him, financially, etc, to help that happen.

But we are breaking the mould in many ways. He is too humble a man to say it, but the football side of the project is his baby, instigating Nuno's "idea" to lay down a template for a style of play, to enact Home or Away, and buying players that fit that system, and hopefully employing that same formation in U23's, U18's, etc. to provide a conveyor belt of "made to fit" replacements in the coming years. So long as the fat, apathetic, comfortable cats at the top keep paying exorbitant amounts for great players who have no place in their system (Pogba, Sanchez et al) we catch up, bit by bit. How quickly depends not just on the big boys errors, but also on our own aspirations and investment levels. And how we manage the organic bit of the growth. Wholesale change is not required, but even one or two bad acquisitions can destroy the wonderful togetherness the team currently enjoys (Johnson & O'Hara).

Fosun's part of the project is the financial backing, but this is another area where I feel our innovation will benefit us, making sure that money is spent wisely. Jorge Mendes should know the attitude and temperament of his players, as well as their footballing ability, and hopefully steer us clear of any wrong 'uns. That is invaluable in this game of catchup. Look at the ratio of successful signings since last year, Rodders is questionable, Mystery Phil is unknowable, but the rest have all improved the squad, most unexpectedly the bargain "buys" of Bennett, Ruddy, Douglas. Thelwell deserves massive credit for this too. This is a team effort, and our team is currently excelling itself. You can't put a price on that togetherness and mutual respect.

Nuno respects us, he has shown this by constantly referring to our invaluable support all year. Let's show our respect for him, his honesty and integrity, his passion and his understated intelligence, by being a new breed of supporter. A patient crowd, who see the big picture, rather than the unexpected defeat or the occasional mistake.

The direction of travel is upwards, the steepness of the curve is unknowable, let it play out. And enjoy the ride.

This also has had me thinking for a while but not for the same reasons as the OP as I don't believe that will happen.
There will come a time he leaves, hopefully by his own consent and I think honestly, I'll need time away from football for a while. It's the same thing I think people felt when Bully retired.

The benefit this season was we had a great start and momentum carried us forward. Hopefully next year will be the same.

Momentum works in both directions, if we have a bad start and pressure builds then who knows what might happen.

We could also start a thread along the lines of what happens if we win the first seven or eight games, having beaten a few of the usual top clubs and are sitting top of the PL? Will one of the clubs who by then will have fired their Manager come knocking and try to unsettle Nuno?

Let’s just see how the summer business goes and what the fixture list looks like before we predict what may or may not happen to Nuno should we have a horror or stellar start.

    I doubt that will happen.

However even if we were (hypothetically) relegated I would like to see Nuno stay and being given the chance to get us promoted again, as with Sean Dyche.

Not suggesting that we will be relegated but I think there is enough goodwill that we would stick with Nuno?

It won't be so, more likely to win our first 7/8 if anything.

I believe Nuno signed up to the project to make Wolves one of the best teams in England, if not Europe and so long as Fosun are in it for the long haul that is exactly what I expect him to do.
