Second team is Spurs, just love the way they play football and the fact that they're the only top 6 club who haven't really bought their way to success.

Following the England football team for me, only bother with the aways though more for the social side than the football, so many great places to see around the world and what better excuse to go to them, Kazakhstan for example!

  13. Well Arcadius to be honest I haven't really got a second sport, a little narrow minded you might think, but I like all sport in general.

I do support anything to do with England, no matter what the sport, as well as the Olympics etc. I want GB to do us proud. But like I said, I don't really have a second sport as such it's always been football that's no1 for me.

Thought I would have a quick post before this thread ends up in a totally immature disagreement between two mixers that think they have the right to take over a thread, just to prove their right on a subject that the thread wasn’t about in the first place.

Arcadius I hope your thread doesn’t turn into another battle of the MOIMTY (my opinion is more important than yours) thread, but I dare say it will at some point. Good luck mate.

Surely a bit of a mismatch there Staten it should read Leinster rugby and Wexford hurling no?!:embarassed: considering Munster is the rival provience?

Not a fan or rugby though

But i do follow Wexford Gaelic Football and Hurling plus Wexford Youths (Div 1 - League of Ireland) in association (just to clarify) football.

I like cricket and have watched England abroad and at Edgbaston on quite a few occasions. I've also got into watching darts in recent years. I went to watch the darts at the civic last year and it was a great atmosphere and great night.

Agree. Ricky Hatton in his day was a great boxer to watch. Not the bet technically but he walked through one punch to land 2 or 3 at times. Very exciting.

Yup. I've always said Ricky did fantastically well with such limited technical ability.

Never seen a sportsman have such a rapport with the fans the way he did though. Was truly incredible.

  29. Once a month I put the wig, slap and garb on and become Janet. There are a few of us, some from quite normal backgrounds who find transvestism a worthy pursuit and release from the strains of modern living. Janet has yet to visit Molineux, but the last day of the season looks quite likely, as Janet knows absolutely nothing about football and will therefore not wet herself through nervous tension.

Away from football I like pretty much any sport. Only team that comes close to Wolves is Wolverhampton Speedway, love the speedway. Massive Wales fan in both football and rugby but national support is a bit different to supporting a club team I think. Really enjoy the NFL as well, New York Jets all the way!

Always had a soft spot for Sheffield Wednesday and I look out for their results, I wouldn't say they're a second team though! In terms of sports, I bloody hate cricket, I can appreciate the technique, fast bowling, spin bowling, clattering the ball at that pace, but my GOD the terminology and the games themselves are sinfully boring. "Time for tea", "The Nigh$$$$chmen", "Game called off for 'bad light'" - $$$$ off! I like watching Tennis, badminton, snooker, darts, athletics and a few others! My bit on the side is a United fan from Surrey! I'll let her off though cos she's been to a load of matches (and she's hot :D).

  38. Big fan of Wolves & Worcester Warriors.

Then a follower of Worcester City, Worcestershire County Cricket.

Go to the occasional Sheffield United/Wednesday game as I'm at uni here and tickets are dirt cheap.

PS I'll get you a pair of those tights you liked next time I'm in Selfridges.
