    Hi,
Sorry to be a thicko but I'm not at all technically minded,
I have had my digital camera just over 2 months, and tonight I have put all of my sons prom pictures on PC and when I put the SD card back into the camera its not recognising it, I've tried the card in my sons camera and its fine so its obviously a problem with the camera not recognising the card, before I go back to the shop to play my face is there anything I could have done(accidently) for this to happen.

    Thanks

PS - Before any smartarse says it - Yes I did put it in the right way round.!!

You didn't 'format' it in the PC to wipe it clean did you?

If I have God knows how I've done it!! Could I have done this accidently, all I did was put SD card in slot, copy photos and remove card!!!!

Also no other card we have works in my camera,

Go to a camera shop and show them the camera and card, I am sure they will solve your problem.
When I was in England last year, a camera shop in the Manders Centre found me a strap for my camera case in their junk box and didn't even charge me for it.
    It's called custumer service.

Good advice from Ray there, I'm sure you will be able to view the pictures with a new strap.

You may even be able to recover the pictures from the card using some good software called Photorescue (do a google search for it). But, if you have formatted the card it may not be of much help.

I was just pointing out the fact that they went out of their way to help me without a thought of profit you cretin.
I am often accused on these threads of a lack of humour, your shafts of wit are pathetic.

Ray just back to his old self - throwing childish insults around ('cretin') when he quickly runs out of material.

That really did make me lol. However, it would allow Netherton to safely hold the camera whilst explaining the problem to the bloke in the camera shop thus avoiding any further damage.
