Now Friday 20th March 7.45 ko on Sky
$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$
Cheers for the news.
Great for us ex-pats, we can now see the game LIVE on the box.
Obviously, a Friday night is not liked by Wolves fans who go to matches and would prefer a Saturday.
Probably better for me as I wouldn't be going to the game so can watch it now. Can see why it'd annoy people who are going though, the early KO for the away fixture really $$$$ed me off.
The performance didn't help either.
Just waiting for them to move our Friday Bank Holiday game away at Forest to an early KO as well, which will be infuriating.
Derby have been on Sky about 15 times this season already. We need another ticket offer for this game seen as how the travelling fan will struggle with attending midweek after work.
Well it's 3.00pm as it is so moving it anymore won't be that bad
It's actually worked out better for me as I was struggling to get to this game however I still don't like that sky jack around with the fixtures so much.
Moving it from 3pm to a 12:15pm or something similar would just be $$$$e, given that having a good couple of hours around the area/boozer is part of going away for most of us.
Anybody want my ticket? Can't see me making that one of a Friday night at the end of the working week. Pretty sure it's my stepdaughter's final Young Wolves game as well
Totally hacked off with this announcement...had planned to watch Australian Pink Floyd in Brum Friday night and then go to the game the following day....arranged a days holiday etc etc and then this bombshell....Stuff Sky where the sun does not shine...
That's the problem mate....... We all dont just live around the corner from Wolverhampton!!!
½ day off work for some, and some bosses are non to accomindating.
$$$$ you Sky and hank you Wolverhampton Wanderers,
Be weird to be doing noting on a Saturday.
This in Spades
You can shove it where the sun don't shine
Aussie Pink Floyd are CLASS! Seen them at summer pops in Liverpool and at the nia in brum. Great band.
Thanks Sky, you $$$$ers.
Same for me. I just meant it's already strange playing on a Friday.
Time to email wolves as that's a young wolves game, they take the cash over encouraging young fans? Sorry this is bang out of order, and I know there will be the response no school the next day, but we like to make a day of it with our kids, 3 of us take them. They love the going the pub, outside before someone pipes up, seeing the milling around the ground before as well. I'd suggest if Moxey does read this that he offers an alternative on a Saturday too
Damn. Saturday flights booked ages ago.
I don't mind the 5:15 Saturday kickoff, but the 12:15 & Friday night games are a joke for many fans.
We play Sheff Wed on the Tuesday night too at home, so 2 night matches at home in a week. Lads r gonna b knackered
We need a VERY large sign.....stating we hate Sky
Then they might not pick us again
Or Sing a song about Sky
Really? 2 overnighters in one week, not good!
We've booked our flights for Bournemouth away July last year.... I really hope that does not get moved. Booked 2 days off work!!!
For those of you with kids in young wolves, they may look at changing the free ticket to another game, had a response to my email
I was really $$$$ed off about this, but I don't feel too bad now I've found out that it's the last day of the 6 nations on the 21st with 3 matches back to back.
So now it's Friday night at the match and Saturday in the pub all day
The WV1 lads had an 'RIP 3pm' (or something like that) banner at Leicester away a few years ago (when it was on a Thursday night).
How many of those complaining about Sky subscribe to it, or are happy to watch matches in the pub when it suits?
I subsscribe to Sky for boxing don't watch football on there (Sky Sports gets cancelled once the boxing 'season' is over or anytime theres none on (except within 4 weeks of reactivating as thats the min time you have to keep it).
Only time I'll watch football in the pub is when Wolves are on and I've not been able to go because of some stupid kick off time/day caused by Sky and then I go to the local that put it on some dodgy channel. And I'm far from happy about that.
All of us.
I don't have Sky, never have, never will. They are turning football into a TV sport. I don't go to the pub to watch games, I go to the pub to have a few beers with my mates. I go to Molineux to watch my team and I couldn't give a stuff about the Premier League, unless we are in it.
I hate Sky and what they are doing to our game.
I love watching football on TV, I don't know what I'd do without it. You only have to look at people stream begging also to know that everyone else does as well.
So do I. Cup of coffee, sunday morning, premier league/championship on the TV. Brilliant stuff. Probably one of my highlights of the week.
Match Of The Day + Football League Show on terrestrial tv.
I like watching the big PL games on tv, but generally choose to do that on a big screen, whilst having a few beers in a Social Club-it is good banter between the fans of different clubs. I do have sky at home, but often don't watch live games, other than Wolves, of course. I still enjoy Match of the Day and watch on sunday am, followed by the Football League show (or at least the highlights of our game, if recorded).
My main reason for still keeping Sky is to watch test cricket (at a time, mainly, when I wouldn't want to be drinking!), otherwise I would be restricted to short highlights on Channel 4 or whatever. That is a must for me, but I would probably happily do without it, other than that.
Same here Seasider. I DID have, but don't any more.
The only football I watch on Sky is when I'm in the pub before our games and it's on in the background. Can't say I miss it.
