No he is not our temporary replacement for Sako but he has declared his intention to stand as the next FIFA President.
Obviously it will water down the Blatter challenge but it should make things interesting and let's hope the whole of Europe votes against that Swiss fraud.

It's the countries in Africa, asia and south American you need on your side to win. Blatter will promise more money to them and win.

    But it's Ginola ....

I wish there was a public vote for something like this but I guess that would be fixed too

Not a snowballs chance in hell of winning - even if he does, would you honestly trust Ginola? - You only have to look at the other smug french fella Platini - he's as bad as Blatter.
FIFA are corrupt. Unless someone launches an alternate Confederation that gets the support of the major footballing countries within Europe, then nothings going to change.
The best protest would be for all the major countries not to qualify & let all the minnows go to Qatar - how embarrassing would that be!

He needs the suppport of five federations to get on the ballot paper -as only ten or so ,inc the fa,are expected to vote against blatter he stands no chance. The anti blatter forces need to support one candidate to maximise opposition but the swiss cheese is home and dry.

The Jordanian (?) guy who has said he is standing against Blatter is a pretty good candidate (from what I've read about him). And even he cant get Asia on-board!

This. He'll struggle to get five likes on Facebook, let alone five FAs to support him.

Champagne didn't want to stand if Blatter was going to stand again but he'd already committed to doing so once Sepp changed his mind.

All well and good, but look what happened the last time a French superstar got voted into FIFA. Although he was a brilliant player, who's to say he won't turn against us exactly the same way Platini did?

Platini is not in FIFA. He's the president of UEFA.

FIFA, UEFA, the common denominator is that they know FA!

I hate Paddy Power. Almost as much as the person who runs their twitter account.

Just like the Eurovision song Contest - we might have won it once, but we'll sure as hell never win it again - Cheats Cheats Cheats - we should all boycott the Arab Games (also called the 2022 World Cup)

Perhaps Gullit would have been a better candidate. Ginola clearly knows nothing about FIFA & is hardly involved currently in football at a meaningful level.
