Not surprised. They are in a right mess.
As you say Jonzy no surprise.
Dropped into relegation zone wow things must be bad.
Yes, desperation rules there now....no Wilson or Clarke and they have nose dived big time. Dropping into League Two would be catastrophic for them.
Just a Rugby club aren't they.
No ,Rugby is 15 miles away
Get him in if Kenny's results aren't good over the next 6 games
Now I can tell Jonzy was joking, not sure about you Beastier but I'd hope so.
closer than Northampton.
You are kidding aren't you??
Stuart Pearce to get the job i reckon.
Don't you know they're a "massive club" and can't wait to show us all what huge crowds they get when they return home. *Ahem*. Remember the Trolls on different forums when we mentioned taking more to Milton Keynes than they did? What goes around comes around, if they drop to League 2, tough bobbins and good riddance.
I've always disliked Coventry for no other reason than they always seemed to stay in the top flight; really $$$$ed me off esp as we always seemed to be below them in the league. And they took Robbie Keane - $$$$$$$$s! Hell of a fall, a bit like Pompey?
Has Pressley really gone? I'm guessing it was a case of "it's now or never" to hopefully give them a new manager bounce before it's too late
low crowds and all
the return to coventry has not gone to plan
they are all shook up
Either that, or on some substance
is it a case of return to sender?
Rather surprised there's been a little less conversation since I last posted on this thread
Yes - 6 games is too long really, make it 3
Enough! Pressley has lift the building.
As if I thought the elvis act in town tonight was bad enough.
Maybe they need A Good Luck Charm.
The fans might think hes The Devil In Disguise though.
but if he does well he could be seen as some sort of good luck charm :vollkommenauf:
The Elvis jokes would have been funny if his name was actually Pressley rather than Presley
No surprise really. He's been under pressure for a while - the Coventry City fan has been criticising Pressley a lot recently for leaving stronger players on the bench than the starting 11, playing too many players out of position and playing a system that doesn't suit their players. The only reason he hasn't gone sooner is because they haven't got a pot to $$$$ in - and the negativety towards the manager and problems on the pitch gets the fan and media talking about the problems on the pitch rather than the million and one problems off the field.
I've lived in Coventry all my life - and I despise Coventry City. Their fans still bang on about winning the FA Cup in 1987 and still talk about returning to the Premiership despite being relegated from there 12 years ago. Everyone you talk to in Coventry was at Wembley - which is a miracle because Wembley only had 70,000 seats.
Their fan protested every week because they wanted Coventry playing back in Coventry rather than Northampton - and now they're back in Coventry, nobody turns up.
Do you want to have another go at that? :wavey:
Oh don't stop the fun , you must have a Wooden Heart .
He's very upset he was spotted this morning Crying in the Chapel.
I'm not ready to join in the jokes yet - I'm still All Shook Up by the new
The big boss man clearly wanted a little less conversation and a little more action.
Do you think they're gonna drop Way Down? That really would be Heartbreak Hotel
I'm worried for them - I'd be lying if I said it isn't Always On My Mind
Why don't Cov like Villa? Jealous Minds I suppose.
Suspicious minds maybe?
yes kinda of sad how the return to coventry didn't go to plan
life in the ghetto hey?!
Separate names with a comma.
