I know we're still in with a chance of going up but if we don't who do with think will be joining/leaving us?

    I think it'll be:
QPR, Leicester and Sunderland coming down.
Watford, Bournemouth and Boro going up.
Blackpool, Wigan and Millwall dropping out.
Bristol City, Preston and Sheff Utd coming up.

Looks like it will be a very strong league next year imo, although you have the disappointments and surprise packages as always in this league to throw in to the mix.

To be fair the same could have been said for this season regarding those who went down i.e being a strong League.

When Fulham splashed £11M on McCormack and kept the likes of Parker, Ruiz & Rodallega you would have thought they would have been a shoe in. Norwich I expected to walk the League as they kept the majority of their squad but they are fighting for promotion with us and Cardiff I certainly expected a lot more from.

Of course I can not forget mentioning Brentford & Ipswich who honestly seen them as promotion challengers at the start of the season no league is won on paper.

After relegation having a great squad on paper means nothing If you can't work with them we should know after the balls up of 12/13.

I had a feeling Ipswich would have a good season as I did Boro but not Brentford.

    Thought mid table tops.

It's swings and roundabouts... there will be teams who will be challenging for promotion you would never have dreamt of (Brentford and Bournemouth this year); and likewise, there will be teams struggling who you would have thought would be challenging for automatic promotion (Fulham and Cardiff).

Next season will be no different. Any of the teams who miss out in the Play Offs could be in a relegation fight next season - and vice versa.

I'd be very pleased with QPR, Leicester and Sunderland coming down, and Brizzle, Preston and Sheff United coming up as they are all definite away days for next season!

Just a shame Blackpool will be going down! Had a great laugh there in September! The Manchester was rocking before the game! Plus Millwall was a good day out and I'm sure if we are still in the mix could take 5000ish to Wigan!

Can't see QPR being a threat got a feeling they will Portsmouth it,
Sunderland could end up in the same situation ain't they in massive debts ? If not they'll do a Boro, judging on yesterday's performance Bristol could get top half easy

With those clubs potentially coming up and those coming down it looks very tough.
I think Leicester persuming they stick with Pearson will be in a good position to bounce back i think they've played well this season but haven't had much luck or taken their chances. I don't think they will lose many players.
QPR are on 5 game losing run and with Terry Connor version 2 in charge i can only see them coming down. They;re going to lose hell of a lot of players, they'l be the Fulham of this season or worse, same for Sunderland if they come down i see them struggling.

I agree with all of this. Leicester have quite impressed me really. QPR have been crap, considering the players they have-messed around by cretins like Arry, Hoddle and Sir Les, then dumping things on the current manager, who, like you say, is as out of his depth as TC was.

Leicester have impressed you? Really? I will admit I've not seen a great deal of them this season but what I have seen they deserve to be in the bottom 3. Could be wrong though! As like I say I'm going on very little!

I think it will be Derby, Boro, and Norwich if we don't make it..

I'd fancy Brizzle to challenge for the play offs next season TBH.

I am not sure about Sheffield United going up. I think MK Dons might win the play offs.

If Sunderland come down they'll retain Fletcher, cos who would buy him based on the last two years, and in the Championship he'd be formidable

I think there would be quite a few they'd retain who *should* do very well at this level.

    Wickham, Bridcutt, Buckley, Cattermole.

I suppose you couldn't rule out Johnson as well given the off the field issue and Rodwell with his injury problems.

But then they'd come down with a lot of over the hill, high wage players that they would have to shift.

A savvy Championship manager (dare I say Mick McCarthy) would have that squad demolishing this league imo. I'd be worried if they came down, and I think they will. Burnley seem to have a bit more fight.

Aren't QPR facing massive sanctions/fines if they return to the Football League?
