I've finally taken the plunge and bought myself a season ticket so I'll be driving back to the weekend home games from West London.

There has been a thread about this before where a few people suggested they'd drive and there was a little interest so I just thought I'd mention it again.

I live in Osterley/Isleworth so I'm about 25 mins away from central London on train or tube. If you are interested in jumping in drop me a PM.

And Dewsbury before you mention it - I filled in my London Wolves application today.

    via brent Cross M1?

Was talking to Chiswick Wolf recently re the same thing - I'm an ex season ticket holder but interested in renewing the half season ticket. I'm just off the M1 in Hendon - very near to Brent Cross shopping centre. Would you be going via the m1 or A/M40?

You would do anything to get a strange man in your car for a prolonged period.

Go on the M40 if you can. I used to drive up the M1 from Muswell Hill and then M6. The M40 is far quicker.

By the way Coops don't forget you've got a 100% record to keep up with that half ST.

I know mate, if we win promotion it will all be down to me. FACT.

Very true Thomas. They are normally only in until I've handed over the money...

I have never really fancied the idea of traveling regularly by car to games . Sooner have a few beers & larfs on the train with friends

Yeah but judging by that afternoon I spent with you boys when we won 4-1 at Leicester, would I be able to keep up??

It takes practice. I joined London Wolves in 1981 and didn't drink - now look at me :)

I agree with Barry, sitting in a traffic jam nursing the last 1/4 of a warm can of larger or easy access to plenty of beer, toilets and the chance to stretch my legs? The train wins hands down, I'm afraid.

Out of interest, how much does it cost in petrol for the round trip?

......unless it is a midweek game and the Euston train rolls in at 1.10am !

As a member I have been a few times this season as it does not seem as many as when I was a regular in the late 90's early 00's.

Do you London Wolves boys still get those discounted train tickets like you used to? That ought to be worth investing in Coops.

Or are you still after shared car journey so you can tie in visiting the relatives for the weekend? Might be a bit tricky that way.

Bit of both to be honest.
