But I was bricking it when they pulled it back to 3.2 with something like quarter of an hour to go. Barnsley just capitulated near the end. Shades of Wolves Leicester in the Prem season.

Watched the game, was a great advert for Championship football in all honesty. Barnsley's 2nd was offside but Ref had a blocked view and Linesman couldn't see that it came off barnsley striker. They then scored another about 3 mins later to go 3-0 up but Burnley scored twice in 5 mins and prob should have equalised in last few mins

Barnsley Keeper made 2 or 3 excellant saves to keep Barnsley in it. Was going ballistic at his defenders and rightly so.

good result for us , but we shouldn;t worry that far down the table at moment. Reading & Blue result more important tomorrow (and ours of course :) )

In case Burnley won and crept closer to us in the table?

Wrong turn of phrase maybe but I didn't want them to win.

Burnley are never going to seriously challenge the automatic positions.

Because Mr. Dewsbury does have a penchant for the dramatic hyperbole;)

I don't even know what that means never mind have a penchant for it.

Like I said wrong choice of phrase but I certainly didn't want Burnley to win. Barnsley aren't going to trouble us but Burnley might.

To be fair the same could have been said about Stoke and Hull this time last season...

I think it's about time you took a vacation from the mix. I've been following your work closely for the past couple of weeks, and unfortunatley it's not up to the required standard.

Take a two week break. Don't worry, i'll get someone to cover for you.

Don't think I'm postponing my holidays; I booked them months ago. You've just got rid of User no longer registered*, Tez Read left and Essex Wolf is suspended on full pay (typical copper). Stewarton Wolf got food poisoning from a bad slice of humble pie, Black Suit is sleeping better and Grizzled Wolf got hit by a meteor.

I don't think you have got cover, and I'm not bailing you out this time. As soon as the December stocktake's done I'm offski; Dewsbury can train the Christmas temps on his own for all I care; there'll be some "dramatic hyperbole" then, I can tell you...

*You know who I mean; looks like Roy Race and would lift his kilt up for Incey.

Dewsbury Wolf could easily fill the gap, however, I don't think it fair to ask anymore of him as he's already working a 7 day week on double shifts.

The prefered option would be oldgoldwolfcub, he's had more than enough holiday time over the past 3 months and could easily, I assume we're in agreement here, fill goldenhorse' shoes.

I have no doubt that a couple of defeats over the next 5 days will see many possible candidates. Essex' suspension on full pay is up on Wednesday I believe, as is the other public sector worker, Stewarton Wolf.

Astral Trader (exeter) prefers to work the night shift from another planet far away from here, but if he could come back down to earth for a day or two, i'm of the opinion he'd be someone worth considering.

Florida Wolfey is another that may be able to do a job. However, as the position requires 1 sentence posts (something he would struggle with I fear) preferably containing a rubbish one liner, i'm not sure he'd be up to it. Obviously smugness wouldn't be a problem here.

Disregarding the above, i'm struggling to think of a suitable poster. One can only hope somebody somewhere registers to fill this important position.

I am so proud to have my very own stalker, don't worry, I do have a vacation coming up, but not for a week or so. I will attempt to be less irritating in the meantime.
