Tough game this they'll be well.up for it and they're doing well in the championship plus they've got a grudge against us from last season's game.

1-2 and In the hat for the next round COYW

We'll put out a strong team, control the game and have far too much for them. Similar game to against Everton with the same scoreline 1-3

They have won i think 8 on the bounce and are unbeaten in 15. They did man united last year. I reckon it will go to penalties

I don’t care if they have won 28 on the trot. They ain’t nowhere near as good as us and we will win pretty comfortably I think.

Look at it this way, they are no better than they were when we beat them, with 10 men. We now have the likes of Moutinho, Dendocker, Traore, Jimenez.

    Easy.

If we faff about with inclusions like Ruddy and Gibbs-White then I can see it being a very tricky afternoon and perhaps even going to penalties. Strongest possible side and I struggle to see how we won't beat them. I actually think given their form and the fact they're at home that they'll go for it and attack us, which could play into our hands.

Tough, tough game. Bristol are a good team with good manager. But we fight to the very end the same as we do at Molino.

    Luv. Nuno.

Our first team should have far too much for them. Make changes and we'll blow the biggest opportunity to win a major trophy we've had in years. Hopefully lessons have been learned from the previous round.

I'm not confident, I dunno why just gotta feeling. I hope we can win but I dunno, just feels like it has the makings of a cup giant killing. Hope I'm wrong though tbf, and there's nothing to say we can't go there and win comfortably if we play well.

I want to win the dam thing for once.
I firmly believe we can, but in order to progress we're going to have to play our strongest side that's available on the day.
Bristol are no mugs and I doubt / hope Nuno will treat them as such.

1 goal more than than BC will suffice.

    Strongest team, we win.

    Changed team, we don't.

If we don't play Rui and Jimenez, for no reason whatsoever (we're not resting them FOR anything), I'll be fuming.

They did win their last league match in the last minute so will be buzzing. They did have some injuries though, Andreas Weimann went off after 18 minutes and another lad was subbed on 45 minutes.

There is no doubt this is going to be a tough match and really needs the A team. I will be surprised if Jota is fit after going off the other day so we have to hope it's the same team that started against Newcastle with Cav in place of Jota if he is not fit.

This will go to extra time with Traore coming on and creating havoc. We will nick it 1-0

Understandable if it happens.....they know they will be in for a tough game. All about the bigger picture.

We really, really need to win this for their sake as well as our own. And we will.

The only possible Wembley appearance they ultimately want to be focusing on is the big one v the Boggies (;))...no distractions required then.

Best all round if they just put up a decent show and lose gracefully.

We’ll rest some players, almost certain.

Weimann was injured on Tuesday so he won’t play, eliasson (who is a better player anyway...) will come in for him.

Whatever team we put out we’ll be competitive though. Going for 2-1 to you which I wouldn’t be too disappointed with as the league is our focus

I'm not sure I understand all the Ruddy-hate. It was only a few weeks back that he produced 'that save' against Liverpool to help knock them out.

Sure he makes mistakes but I think he does well considering he doesn't play regularly and is a consummate professional both on and off the pitch; a lesser player might've created team tension and rifts after having been dropped from the 1st XI.

I'd be equally happy to see either him or Patricio start as I know they'll both give their all.

Got a Brizzle fan in the office. He's respectfully confident.

We "should" win but I can definitely see them giving us a tough game. I'm going to say 2-1 to us AET.

Of those 8 wins, 6 of them have been by a single goal.

Of those 6 1 goal wins, 5 winners have been in the last 1/3 of the game - they have scored winners in the 93rd min, 86th min, 80th min , 72nd min , 66th min.

So they seem to be decent late on in games.... like another team? The name of which evades me......

2-2 after extra time. We win 10-9 on pens. Coady scores the winning penalty and the whole team jump on top of him in a massive pile-on.

From my perspective it's far from hate, just hoping that we play a better option ahead of him in order to give us a greater chance of winning the game. I struggle to see why that's surprising.

I am sure we shall probably put out the strongest team possible. We are unlikely really to challenge for 6th place in the league, whilst they will clearly want to ensure they get into the play offs (or perhaps even automatic), so they might play a weakened side. We have no reason to put out a weakened side and shouldn't do that against a team in form. The only point I would make about Bristol City, is that I seem to recall that they had a similarly great run in the league, this time last season, although I might be wrong on that and then it all fell away, so perhaps they are due a bad run, starting on Sunday!!
