Just interested in what people think the result might be. I'll go for 1-0 Reading.
A 'suits us nicely' draw.
bloose 0 reading 1
Reading to trundle Brum 2-0.
Reading will win 2-1, it says so in my prediction league entry...
A win for us is the essential thing. After that a draw would suit us to keep them both at a decent distance.
I think Blues will win this one. 2-1.
I'd rather we open up a bigger gap between us and Reading given that we have to go there in January. Could be an important cushion to have.
And you're doing reasonably well, what were your other predictions by the way?
Blose 0-0 Reading
If they don't draw, I would rather Reading won. This is because I fear them more than Blues, so I would prefer us to pull away from them. It would be really sad if Blues finished third and had to scrap it out in the playoffs.
Anyway, Reading to win 2 - 1.
I'd be doing much better if I hadn't missed a week while sitting here on the commentary thread for an away game a few weeks back. What a muppet!
Reading should win this after the blues have looked a bit lucky in their last few. I want to see them both get physical and knock each other about before the long Christmas schedule
A draw 2-2 with lots of red cards and injuries
Reading to win 2-1. Shut those cocky brummies up, especially when they think 'they only have to turn up' to win the league!
with any look a 0-0 draw and both lose key players for long periods
Would like a draw but I think Reading will win...better team, better manager. Think it will be a Wolves, Reading one and two for promotion; hopefully the way it reads.
Reading are the best side I've seen this season by a long way. They will win this 2-0
I changed my prediction for the Derby game from 3-0 to 2-0 and missed 5 pts bonus
I'm going for a Reading win, 1-0 although id much prefer a 0-0 draw.
With any luck, there'll be a brawl between all 22 players on the pitch, the match will be abandoned and both teams will be deducted 10 points and match bans will be handed out like confetti by the FA.
Of course, in the real world...
I don't really know what would be best for us. If last weekend's results had gone Blouse win and Reading defeat, then a win for the Blouse would be best for us to put daylight between us and third place. As it is, I think 0-0 is the best we can hope for - though a win for us is No.1 priority.
wolves win before we play, whatever the result!!!
Actually I've had a rethink; as long as there are plenty of injuries and cards, the score doesn't matter.
(Not Christmas cards, smartarses)
Actually I like them to have a good fight on the field so that the FA would punish them both with deductions of points.
If that will not happen, than I think it will be a score draw, make be 1-1. I prefer Blues to win so that Wolves would have more light with the 3rd team and Reading may give up by selling some of their forwards.
A draw in this game and A nice win for the boys at Doncaster would make for a nice weekend.
Blues 1-3 Reading
Readings games are far easier than Blues for the next 3 or 4....
I think Blues will drop points in the few games after the Reading match.
We are 6 points clear of Blues 7 points clear of Reading.
Ideally a Wolves win followed by a Reading defeat, to put 10 points between us and Reading going in to the second half of the season.
It puts pressure on Reading, and Reading lost 10 points to us the first half of the season. IMHO that will leave Reading chasing Blues for second.
Let them concentrate on battling with each other we can just carry on doing what we have been.
2 -1 Win Blues.
0 -2 Win Wolves
6 points to second
10 points to third
I love all this Reading are better than us and Blues, thats why they are in third place
I expect Reading to win this one. 2-0
I hope is a draw, but I think Blues will win. As I live not far from Reading and work close to Reading, I would prefer a Blues win to a Reading win. At least a Blues win would push Reading further back into the pack and open up more of a gap between 2nd and the rest.
Our fate is in our own hands. What others do just doesn't matter as long as we win on Saturday.
Could not agree more, the most imoprtant result on Saturday is us beating Donny........having said that .... I think a win for Blues and then us increases the gap between us and third so thats probably best all round!
Blose 0 Reading 2
Wolves & Reading to go up auto - Blose to fail in the play offs
I'd have to say a draw, followed by a Reading win.
Provided we take all 3 pts at Donny, either of the above results mean there'll be a bigger points gap from 2nd place, AND a bigger gap from 3rd.
Anyway, sod this auto promotion talk - I want us to take the title! Plus I think if it stays close between Blues and Reading throughout the season they'll be more worried about each other than us and this may help to create some nerves in either camp, with a bigger chance of one or both faltering. So for this reason I don't want Brum to win and put more distance between them and Reading.
0-0 That'll do
Plus half a dozen red cards & minor injuries
Reading to win by two clear goals, but hoping for the draw.
