Still down as a 3pm! Surely not?

Any idea what allocation they will give us?

We played Blues at 5.30 just the other year, I think WMP have finally saw a bit of sense and realised changing kick off times has no real effect.

Think others have had the whole lower tier if needed (approx 4k).

About 3000, they could give us more in the away end but I doubt they will.

If it isn't a dead rubber, we'd surely sell the whole Railway End.

I've been very dissapointed with some of our followings to Blues at times.

I was on holiday last time around. It was the only time I could get off work, but the half time score was worthy of a drink even if Dean Manager nearly blew it in the second half.

    3,200 they gave Leeds.

We generally take 2,500+ to Blues, the last one being an exception to that.

I have noticed the tickets don't shift as quickly as they do for the WBA games. Blues shift theirs pretty quickly in comparison.

I'd class it as a pretty big game.

It's our third biggest derby. It's a massive game

Horrible place to go if you make your own way there. When you come out of that compound you may as well have a flashing light on your head saying "away fan"

I think the games became boring to be honest.

I used to love playing Blues but over a three or four year period we seemed to be playing each other about 3-4 times a season and it lost that edge.

Kind of come back now, because we were relegated and if we have decent results between now and then not taking 3K would be a very poor show.

Not going. First time I'm not in years.

Detest the place and people. Hate hate hate brummies and each visit has become more vile over the years win lose or draw. It really is such a $$$$hole for a "second city"

Gutted I'll be missing this, I had a choice, a rainy day drinking in Digbeth and Small Heath or a sunny day drinking in Orlando!! Will be giving The Garrison a miss this year.

Completely disagree. Jewellery Quarter, Harborne, Moseley, Bourneville to name a few are all really nice areas. The New St and Grand Central redevelopments are getting close to completion which will have a huge impact on the centre. There's loads going on in Birmingham and it'll become a top City over the next 10 years. But that's just my opinion :D

    Not where I'm from.

I'd class Stoke as a bigger rival than Villa.

I think most Wolves would class Blues as more of a derby than Villa to be honest.

I certainly would, Villa are a bit like Walsall not that fussed either way with Stoke probably coming ahead of both.

To be fair you make some very good points.

Birmingham is increasingly coming a very vibrant city I often think to myself we/I often under use it. Imagine if London/Manchester were a 20-30 min train/tram ride away.

Think its the old Black Country/Brummie rivalry thats ingrained in many of us.

Let's be honest, the City Centre is far far better than Wolverhampton.

    Walsall
    Blues
    Villa
    Stoke

A lot more people dislike Walsall than blues IMO

I'd disagree, might be a generation thing though (Walsall's quite a new hatred based on some specific events). To be fair I'm probably what around 10 years older than you? But Walsall were like a little annoying brother to most my age, granted it has changed since. I quite often went to Walsall games with mates from school (mixed bunch Wolves, WBA, glory hunters and 1 Walsall ha).

    For me it would be

    WBA
    Blues
    Stoke
    Villa
    Walsall

Can depends where you live too (although I live as close to Walsall as Wolverhampton). I'm sure for Staffordshire based Wolves Stoke may feature more highly and Telford based fans Shrewsbury would certainly creep into the list.

Interesting how the ranking of rivalries differ.

Definitely a generation thing I think. My rankings are based on when we regularly played the Albion, Villa and Blues in the top flight. Oh for a return to those days.

    1.WBA
    2.Villa
    3.Blues
    4.Stoke
    5.Coventry
    6.Port Vale
    7.Walsall
    8.Shrewsbury

Agreed - it's a place on the up at the moment. I've worked here since around 1990 and lived here for about 13 years. I love it.

Anyway, St Andrews. Vile place to visit but I've been lucky to see some cracking results there.

I agree with this. I think there is lot of mutual respect between Villa and Wolves fans. I suppose you are basing your rivalry then on your greater dislike of Blues (Blues would be top of my list by the way).

For me the biggest derby in West Midlands football is Wolves v Villa, based on the clubs size and traditions alone. However the Baggies is No.1 for me as it's the BC Derby ay it!

Villa and Wolves both dislike the same teams, with a passion.

In the past 30 years we've hardly played Villa. Yet we have had plenty of matches with WBA and Blues.

I know a few Wolves fans who hate Blues more than WBA, simply due to the match day 'experience' at Blues.

There is definite hatred between Wolves and WBA/Blues where its not like that in matches against Villa.
