Depends on the results of the games leading up to it but probably a draw as long as we keep picking up as many points as possible.

match abandoned after too many reds; FA enquiry leading to points deductions for both would be my honest best result

Surely you mean red cards being handed out for crunching tackles that lead to season ending injuries to key players and points deductions?

From what I've seen I think Reading will beat them. We just need to keep grinding out results though.

The fracture clinic car park full of very expensive motors driven there by WAGS!

Failing that to me a Blues win, need to keep the buffer as big as possible between auto places and third

Depends who is 2nd on 20th December.

  9. A draw would be the obvious choice at the minute. But say that we were still 6 points ahead of blues and but only 7 ahead of reading then a bham win would be better for us, keep the gap to 3rd as far as possible.

if things are as they are now then a blues win to keep gap between the auto and play off to a maximum.

A draw most ideally but anything other than a Reading win - I would rather be battling with one team for the Championship than battling with two for automatic promotion

draw best reult, 2 pts lost by both.

And suspensions or niggling strains for the top players :)

  15. I don't care - at least one of them will drop points.

We're where we are because of our results - not other teams'. If we want to keep a 6 point lead at the top, it matters what we do in our games.

Carry on as we are and aim to win EVERY game we play - no point getting worried about a game that we have no influence over.

Any result will be good for us, it doesn't really matter.

If the difference in point between the three sides is similar to today, then a Blues win all day.

The title would be great but surely its all about promotion.

its bloody obvious that anyone in their right mind would pick a draw - simply a case of neutralising the results of our 2 nearest competitors...
    What a daft poll!

I am only interested in Wolves results. The 6 matches in December are of utmost importance. More or less they are matches Wolves should win on paper, particularly those at home and take points from those being played away.

The problem, they are all banana skin matches, where the opponents may settle for draws from the start, and thus they will not allow our players to perform to their ability. Hope to collect at least 12 points from these 6 matches, and if possible 14 or 16 points.

No it's not obvious. The other view is the top 2 places get automatic promotion so the gap to third is the most important one, in the current points position then mathamtically a birmingham win would be the best result

Both of them to lose and then have points deducted for fielding illegal players...... ok a draw then.....

  22. As long as we keep winning I don`t give a $$$$ about anyone else !

It would be nice to win the Division IF we got promoted and there would be a slight feeling of disappointment coming second to Blues, but at the end of the day its just promotion that counts. Finishing second would soon be forgotten when we are playing the big boys and nobody outside of the particular Cities really remembers or cares who came fist or second in the championship.

Watford had a great start last year and nearly missed out on the playoffs - offer me 2nd spot now and I would rip your arm off.

Watford did not have a great start they had an ok start.

    http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-championship/2007-2008/table/2007-12-04

    They had 39 Points
    4 points clear of 2nd
    5 points clear of 3rd and 4th
    6 points clear of 5th and 6th.

    We have 47 points...

    6 points clear of Second
    10 points clear of 3rd
    14 clear of 4th
    15th clear of 5th
    16 Points clear of 6th.

Lets assume that Watford were in the same position as us.....

And then continued with there Results as they did.

They would have finished with 78 Points....
    1 point off automatic promotion.

Even now, Blues onl have 6 points more than the Albion had last season.
Reading only have 2 points more than West Brom had, and only 3 points more than Charlton.

Lets bury this Watford had a great start, no they did not they had a decent start.....
If they had the start we have had, they would only have needed 2 further points to go up automatically.

We need to keep our heads, keep playing the way we have been, and we'll be ok.
