Came over as you'd expect him to, to be honest, very well - The Breakfast Show on talk sport seem very pro-wolves at the moment and have done since they did the dinner at the ground

It is quite amazing that Mick, who, as far as I am aware, has had no contact with CI in his career and yet is getting the best Football out of him as a striker and from his leadership, which were the two things we needed most this season. I reckon CI's time playing abroad has helped his mental strength and, because the pace of the game abroad is slower than here, may also have made his career a little longer. He may or may not be Prem class yet, but he is getting there. I think late developers are intriguing characters and we've seen a few - Bully, of course, and now Chris Andrews. It just goes to show the the notion of continuous progress is so stupid. Mark Davies and Lewis Gobern could become great players but that might not happen this or next season. Long-term thinking is the only real route to success.

Cheers Doc - I had to get out of the car just as he was coming on and missed him!

It all sounds so very positive from the Molineux at the moment - happy days - lets hope we are feeling as good ina weeks time!!!

Chris Andrews....I was glad to see him go,but I always thought we let Keith Andrews go too early.

Whilst he didn't disclose anything ground-breaking, I thought he came across very well. Articulate, confident and intelligent. I can see now why he was made captain. Brazil and Irani were also impressed.

  8. Tall target man, very often seem to develop later in life. They tend to fill out and understand their game/job that bit more. I also wonder if those years give them the maturity to handle that bit of flak that can come their way (Not that Chris has had that here of course...well since he started playing in matches for us anyway ;o).

So I think there's every chance he will play the best football of his career from now until 33-34. He's certainly looking lean and mean at the moment.

I think you're right, but his first goal at the weekend was far from something you'd see of a bulky target man, dunno what it is about MM's work with Iwelumo but he seems to be getting the very best out of him.

I liked the first interview from Chris on WOW. He came across as a level headed down to earth character.
Seeing the video clips he is not just a target man. He has plenty of skill - ball at feet.

He was absolutely brilliant against Preston until he got himself stupidly sent off. That cost us in the 3 games he missed.
