I know it's not over yet, but I think our chances have reduced slightly as we have not strengthened (Afobe aside) over the past 3500 transfer windows (don't panic there's always the next one:p). But which game have fans enjoyed most this season?

I am going for Derby at Molineux, because I thought we were tremendous to beat a team who I feel are the best team in the division. The atmosphere was also bang on - it reminded me of everything I love about Wolves! Electric atmosphere! I simply love a bouncing & vibrant Molineux.

Also the final five minutes of the Blackpool game for the same emotional passionate reasons. We also played great football in the 5-0 Rotherham game, & in the 3-0 Sheff Wed and Fulham home games. Beating Leeds away 2-1 was nice, as was grabbing a point with a James Henry screamer to rob Bolton away. 3-3's against Fulham, Reading and Millwall were very entertaining except we weren't happy with the eventual outcome of all 3.

Whats your favourate game and why?

I think the Watford one a few weeks back had virtually everything, two teams trying to win the game through attacking football. There's nothing worse than when teams have came here and sat back and been very difficult to break down, that is what creates such dull games, Charlton/Reading etc. So yeh, Watford at home for me.

A mention for Bolton Away, purely for James Henry's wonder goal with the last kick of the game, haven't celebrated like that in a long time.

Watford away, in the first half. We went there expecting little on a cold, miserable day after a dreadful run of form. We produced a pretty incredible first half - if Afobe were at the club then, we would've been at least 3-0 up at half time.

Good call! In a slight expansion of the post and baring in mind I don't attend many away games...

    Best Game: Watford at home

    Worst Game: Charlton at home

    Best Atmosphere: Blackpool at home

Best Result: Derby at home, Watford Away

Best Moment (and goal): Henry away at Bolton

Worst Moment: Blowing the 3.0 goal lead at Millwall

From the relatively few games I have been:

Leeds away easily the tops the lot - My best mate is a Leeds fan, and the game fell on his 21st Birthday. We traveled up with his Dad who is also a Leeds fan, they are your typical delusional Leeds fans so was great to snatch a late winner and shut them up. Decent following, decent atmosphere and unreal scenes after the winner.

The Derby home game was my favourite home match in a long time, I dragged my Leeds supporting mate a long with me and couldn't have picked a better game to show him what a great club we are.

Special mention for James Henry's last minute worldy and Blackburn away, great day.

Now, I made the fatal mistake of leaving as soon as the added time board went up. Up to that point we'd been dreadful and couldn't string two passes together. I caught the goal on local radio as I got on to the motorway. Bad times.

Best game in terms of quality was probably Watford x2, or Derby at home

Worst one has to be Charlton in terms of sheer lack of anything, or Rotherham for a frustrating result

Leon's goal at Leeds will probably get best moment for me

These are probably my two, home and away but Watford away shades it.

You mention Afobe but if it hadn't been for Gomes we would have been 3 up by half time and I think it was great goalkeeping rather than strikers missing!

An honourable mention for Bournemouth at home as before the sending off I thought we were well worthy of the win!!

Living in Derby it doesn't take a genius to guess the best and worst games of the season so far!

    Any away game

Great bunch of lads who travel
Great ribbing of each other, banter
Nothing beats an away day especially when we win. :D

I was surprised how comfortable a win it was . Think the away game on a Tues night will be a whole lot tougher.
Cardiff at home for me late winner - you can't beat a late goal ala Brighton at home or Bolton away but a winner is always special

Derby at home was a good watch. I never felt that we were going to lose.

Watford away gets my vote as well.

Frozen to the core before the match even started, then saw possibly the best half of football we've played all season only for Gomes to pull off worldy saves right in front of my eyes to keep it at 0-0.

Dicko snatched a goal in the second half, then eleven men put their bodies on the line to preserve a hard-earned victory that reinvigorated our season.

Norwich was awful but so were Derby, Brentford and Bournemouth. Thankfully I didn't go to Ipswich as that was pretty poor as well.

Maybe a little bit bias because ive only been to 3 games in person, but that Derby game last week was amazing. Probably one of the best matches ive been too.
The Leeds away game at the end. We probably didnt get the result against Millwall but that away game was unbelievable for a number of reasons. That said, both of these were possibly poor games. Maybe BBC WMs commentary is just that good...

I think I'd probably vote for Fulham away, great performance that night, followed up by Leeds & Cardiff away as beating them was sooo sweet.

Fulham at home in the cup for me, hearing the news of Sir Jacks passing all I wanted to do was be at Molineux to be with the Wolves family. It turned out to be an absolute treat of a match played for the most part on a snow covered pitch something I've never seen before, just a shame about the result!
