Tired to stir up some backing mid way through the second half today to be met with gormless expressions and blank stares. If hadnt been for six mates around me I'd have been on my own, we stuck at it for about 15 minutes and despite some other attempts at rallying cries the response was non-existent.

If you were sat near me you'll already know what I thought, if you weren't you do now.

Frankly it was like sitting in a library.

I often take the mickey but it's all in jest. You've got no chance in there until it's finished let's hope it's in the Prem.

My concerns about changing the stadium while were trying to play I've voiced many times as soon as I knew what was happening with redevelopments. The place ain't the same I just hope we get through this rocky period.

I was always in the camp of leave the ground until we're sorted on the pitch.

Does it mean that anyone who sings and supports his team is a chav?

Football is and has always been about supporting your team. If you think otherwise why don't you go and spend your saturdays at the local OAP centre.

I did notice that after the usual 'south bank' chants there was no 'north bank' as there used to be

Hardly a chav, I'd put good money on the fact I have more class, intelligence and obviously passion for my team than you little man.

I guess your inability to work this out says enough about you. Come back when you have something real to contribute otherwise I hear that you can watch the Wolves in lots of pubs these days.

If on the other hand you like to engage in an intellectual debate on the subject of supporting your team you obviously know where I sit.

The whole acoustics have changed withe there being no roof on the North bank.
Can hardly hear any noise from any where in the ground.

As for trying to get the North bank going to be honest I heard sod all in there and didn't see the aforementioned person

I did get some "disgusted" looks when I went off on one about Johnson.
Might have been the language (nothing too strong)
Might have been the subject matter (won't discuss my dissapointment in him)
Might have been the perceived broad Yorkshire accent

No home goals in nearly 7 halves of huff and puff football and you seriously ask why fans don't sing and dance? Get real.

I'm sure you've wrote many times to the council complaining about the supporters supporting their team in the south bank, please $$$$ off and watch rugby.

It's a two way thing though. Sometimes the fans need to get going despite the dross that's being served up. Thats supporting your team.

If people want to sit in silence and be entertained then perhaps the cinema is the place to go.

I've said it on another thread and I think it should be said on this one too.

A supporter is someone who gives their support through the good times and also, more importantly, through the bad times.

'Fans' moan about the club treating them like customers with no loyalty and not as supporters. Well try acting like a supporter and not an unhappy customer.

No don't feel embarrassed, but maybe you should after spending all of that money and not bothering to support your team.

Neither did I earlier. You obviously have a pretty low IQ if you can't recognise someone who isn't afraid to show a bit if passion.

Perhaps if truth is known you're secretly embarrassed you sat on your hands and did nothing to support your team.

Go down the pub and donate your tickets to someone who cares.

Send me your address I'm gonna send you a xmas present this year, it's a time traveling machine and I'm going to send you back to the 70s/80s. But beware you will land in the South Bonk, where you will be surrounded by sweaty men who STOND UP and talk in a proper accent. There aint no time machine to get you back though, you have to enjoy the fun and atmosphere for the next 20 years until it becomes sterile and boring...a bit like you ya miserable $$$$$$$.

To be fair, its hard not to act like an unhappy customer. The club dont give a damn about us as supporters , only customers. They take us for granted because they know we will keep turning up. They know we will keep buying their crappy kits and tacky merchandise. I am a supporter, even though i dont get to go any more. That doesnt mean i cant be critical of the team when i think they deserve it.

Moxey should be ashamed - harassed by the stewards the entire game to sit down. I even saw one police officer on the other side of the netting in the Newcastle end tell some Wolves fans to sit down but not the Geordie fans next to him? Disgraceful, absolutely disgraceful. The atmosphere started off really well I thought - shame about the goals and Newcastle's superior support though...

The club have got the atmosphere they crave - not just thru ticketing but through the enforced seating "only pick on Wolves fans" policy.

With the tickets selling so poorly why not just give the lower steve bull to the away fans anyway - that is part of the reason.

I do sense the crowd this season obviously turning on the club which is sad, but after three home defeats it is normal for much Wolves support to turn on the team sadly.

Pathetic, abusing your own fans because most of them are working class. Oh & BTW with the cost of season & matchday tickets these days I wouldn't really say anybody entering the ground was a Chav.

The southbank was singing for the first 5 mins yesterday, then up stroll wannabe copper stewards to tell everyone to sit down and guess unsurprisingly the atmosphere goes flat.

What a total $$$$$$$$ you are. You're 30 years old and you just want to sit there and watch the game without getting behind your team. No time for people like you, $$$$ off.

Shouldn't be an excuse, I know there's a fair few that try such as Proud Wolf did so fair play, but that mentality in the fans once we stayed up the first season has disappeared and there's too much expectancy now.

Good post. Don't get the chav part either, most lads in the Southbank dress 10 times better than the rest of the ground. Plenty of grown blokes i've seen before in the Northbank in Wolves tracksuits ffs.

    I repeat from another thread.

    Compare and Contrast;

    Frankfurt (You Tube)

    Fans truly involved in clubs.
No Hitlers snarling at people to sit
Reasonable costs and free standing encourage lower paid/youth
    Proper football supporters
    Proper football experience.

    Wolverhampton.

    Fans patronised
Snarling Hitlers telling fans to sit ( If they did this yesterday only with Wolves fans it's a disgrace)
Overpriced aimed at two sections of support, families and "nice" fans.
    Limited social spread
    Sterile football experience.

If I ever attend Molineux again the Hitlers would have to go. I might react to them in a "disgraceful" way. I would of course then be branded a "troublemaker."

The crowd support and atmosphere yesterday was incredible for the last ten minutes only. Why? Simple we had something to support, but why for only ten minutes. Give us something to get our teeth into all game and then they`ll see what support we have here. In can be amazing, but it`s a two way deal.

I see our small minded little man has disappeared from sight as soon as the conversation reached a level at which he couldn't compete.

He also failed to see the irony in his posts. Maybe someone has taken him to one side for a bit of sound advice.

I may carry a bit more timber that I used to and my days of middle distance running are long gone, but this is the first time in my life I've been called a chav and neither I not the mates I sit with could ever fit into that social category.

I find him quite sad really. Probably more of a chav himself than 90% of those he's accused.

Getting quite bored with you now, you know nothing at all about me yet you jumped to quite an insulting conclusion. Yes I was frustrated yesterday and my passion spilled over, but I did what I did in the heat of the moment and do not for one minute regret it. But you insult me from behind your keyboard not to my face, oh and you are the one waving ST's in the air as a badge of honour.

Don't bother responding cuz I'm not really bothered what you have to say, end of debate for me...

This may be odd logic but it may turn out to be true. The north bank are really quiet when the away fans are in the flank of the Jack Harris and conversely the south bank is quiet aswell. When the south bank is as one, it's much noisier and the north bank is also noisier when they are within spitting distance of the away fans.......
So, when the away fans are permanently in the corner quadrant, I think this will increase the noise level in the north bank, oddly something that has the opposite effect or the south bank(when in the flank).
Anyway, I think both stands will benefit from the move of the away fans next season.

It's not just the North Bank, it's the whole ground. Matchdays at Molineux have become a boring sterile experience. The passion has been sucked of of the majority of fans at Molineux by the thought police, who try and control what you do before the match, at half time, and when a goal is scored. I get the impression that a lot of fans are there out of loyalty, and not because they are enjoying it.
