    Simple question really.

I feel that if we keep up our run, (beat Ipswich), we will hop into the Play offs and be the strongest team in there.

A yes from me (head not heart)

As soon as I get too optimistic about the wolves it all goes wrong so Ive voted no. However, I think we've got a really good chance of making the play-offs despite the fact we've got a difficult run-in IMO, this is countered by the fact we are the form team home and away over the last 4 months and the team has played together and gelled over 1 &1/2 seasons.
Winning the play-offs will be an altogether difficult job as our record in play-offs isn't amazing because it is a tricky mini-league for everyone....1 promotion in 6/7 attempts?

But if Wolves miss out on the play offs on GD alone it might not seem so great for a while ultra.

No from me, we'll do well to make the playoffs at all but even if we made it I'd be surprised if we could get the better of the likes of Bournemouth, Derby, Norwich, Middlesbrough over two legs.

Still a good season though, and but for that blip in November who knows what could have happened. Lots to build on for next season if we don't make it.

I think we'll make the play offs but then it's a 1 in 4 lottery.

No, can't see it happening this season.

Auto's next season IF we keep Sako and sign a couple of quality players.

Yes, I have a feeling we will make the play offs then probably go out on something like a goal in the 94th minute!

Sadly it might be if we keep Sako, Afobe and possibly one or two others, plus sign a couple of quality players!

I agree with some of the above, all this talk about the playoffs & getting there but I'd fancy any of those sides above us to beat us quite easily over 2 legs despite our league results against them.

I'd love us to, and it's still a possibility, but I just think we'll come up slightly short. I fancy us to sneak the play-offs, we're in better form than both Brentford and Ipswich (the game on the 18th will be crucial), but as mentioned above, having to beat two of the sides above us is a big ask.

The win over Derby shouldn't mask what a good side they are, and they're a totally different proposition when Martin is up front, which he would be for the play-offs, I'd imagine. Norwich were excellent at Carrow Road, probably one of the standout team performances against us this season, Bournemouth have beaten us twice, and I have a feeling we'll find out just how good Middlesbrough are in a couple of weeks time. As for Watford, they're harder to predict than the lottery, we beat them at Vicarage Road, and that game could have ended up about 4-4, and the game at Molineux two or three weeks ago was fantastic, but again, we could have won it, they had chances too.

I think one of the parrallels between this season and last is that we have improved as the season has progressed, the two performances against Derby are testament to that. One thing I do know, is that none of the sides I mentioned above would want to play us in the Play-Offs, because we'd have that one key ingredient that you just can't manufacture- momentum.

    No.

I think we will begin to drop off before we get a solid footing into the play-offs. Sadly.

  19. Sorry - it's a no from me.

I think we'll make a good fist of it but just fall short.

It will hurt at first but in a year or so's time, we'll look back on it as for the best. We'll have improved the squad and be clear at the top of the table and much more prepared for life in the Greed League...

I'd take this. But to be honest, if we beat Boro and Derby in the play offs I'd say we were ready to face the prem.
Cant see it happening though, but its been a good season nonetheless, hopefully relegate Wigan and do the double over small heath happy days!

    It's a no from me.

The final top six position will be between Ipswich, Brentford and ourselves and the other two are maybe slight favourites as both have a slender points and goal difference advantage entering the last seven games. Having said that we are in very good form and I'd not be totally surprised if we sneaked ahead of them, although our prospects won't look good if we lose at home to Ipswich.

If we do reach the play-offs I'd give us the same odds as the other three sides, ie. 25%. On balance promotion therefore looks unlikely, but you never know.

When you look at Leicester who walked this league last season compared to where they are now vs Burnley I'd put that down to team spirit & a bit more experience in that league.

Obviously any team going up can expect to be in the bottom 3 most of the time but I do think we could make a go of it with the current dressing room we have & a few key signings of the right characters.

Should Wolves make the play offs I'm not the slightest worried about who they'd face.

We've taken 4 points from 6 against Watford and shared the spoils with Derby and Norwich. Wolves have taken 3 points from Boro who we still have to play and have Ipswich to play at Molineux. Only Bournemouth have bettered Wolves overall having relied on some very dodgy refereeing.

Haha what a prat! Cant believe how flat we were against them lot, they lost 8-0 the game before, then we were put into a bad run I think it affected our confidence.
Can we do the double over anyone this year, Boro potentially but unlikely, Leeds at home they will have improved.

I doubt it but voted yes anyway - after 42 years they're due to surprise us in a good way sooner or later.

Always thought that we would fall a little short and still can't see any reason to change my opinion.

I also thought we would lose at home to Derby....so fingers crossed I am wrong again.

As for the OP, I think we have too many difficult games left compared to Derby and Brentford so reckon we'll fall 2-3 points short.

We certainly have the firepower going forward to hurt teams now though, which gives us a fighting chance.

Momentum may give us an outside chance of the play-offs.

I think that final quality will stop us getting promoted though. But I will not mind. Fantastic season, fantastic set of players and manager that can go again next season better for the experience.
