Well after another loss and the way the results have gone are there any happy clappers left?
Even after a spirited first half with chances we should have taken, our defensive frailties in second half have showed us up once again.
All I hope for now is Morgan or moxey to come out and give us a plan, give us suffering fans a bit of hope for the dreaded championship, because with this team and players we will lose in the summer the only way I can see is down again!

I thought 'happy clappers' was a term to describe Mick fans? How can anybody be positive about this situation?

And ironically, i'm pretty sure that we would have been in a better position had we kept faith with MM (at least until the end of the season).

How do you work that out? We're doing no worse than before he got sacked, losing every game.

  5. Your right mate but it was always a house built on sand, we'd of collapsed eventually

MM was taking us down too the results were just as bad, he had to go. I believed in sacking him but only if someone was in place to take the job.
Morgan has let us down big style with so many false promises for this club, i do believe that is a record for our club for consecutive losses today.

In terms of goal difference maybe.

Position, no chance. We were just as dead in the water with him.

I would bet that the club captain wouldn't have dared turn up to training intoxicated for a start.

He should only have been sacked if they had lined up a better manager beforehand.

We may still have been relegated, but we would have been a lot closer to safety with Mick still in charge imo.

He should have been sacked pre-January or not at all, at least we would have had a cracking manager in the league below.

I stopped being a HC many weeks ago. Over the past few weeks, I've been telling people who were doom-mongers that they are wrong to think we still have a chance. I have consistently said we will finish bottom and we will.

I and a few others have been saying it since October, it's only in the last few weeks that others have realised our perilous position. Too many with old gold tinted glasses!

If the board had the balls and foresight to listen to us realists back in september instead of following blindly with the happy clapping buffoons in super $$$$ing mick la la land we wouldnt be in this mess.

I've $$$$ed off many/most posters on here this season but I take no satisfaction in being proved conclusively right in nearly everything I've said/predicted. SM has shown no leadership at all this season, which from a top businessman is quite remarkable. The set up at the club, the management, the players were all far too complacent, almost arrogant and sold us false expectations which after Villa away we were happy to accept. The collapse was predictable as the team has not been changed since promotion and most, if not all of that side have not managed to make the step up. The recriminations will start now but SM has to act decively - Moxey has to go and the whole management structure needs a wholesale shake up, to cover the scouting network, the academy and of course the team. Most of these failures need to go and we need to build again. Getting the right manager in is the most crucial decision but imo it's best to wait till seasons end to see if any new names appear. We're not quite back to where we were when Hoddle left but unless SM gets it right we could be looking at several years in the CCC?

Was going fine till today. Had to sit listening to the game in a bar full of arrogant Sunderland fans talking $$$$e about how we shouldnt of sacked Mick. The only highlight was watching the smug look on their faces dissapear when City scored twice in a minute. $$$$$s.

Same old same old by the sounds of it.

The Board was too far up their own $$$$ to see this coming, a lot of us could tell after the Swansea game we were in trouble this season!

I totally agree , just a shame we have a dinosaur board that don't react and make changes when they are needed. I have no faith in M or M next year . Would not surprise me if they appoint TC till xmas.

Agree fully. I think they will get someone in but won't be very ambitious and certainly won't bust a gut to get a good, upcoming manager like Poyet or Hughton.

Not sure its happy clapping but im feeling positive about next season, sure we will lose a few but with the way the contracts are set up (relegation clauses) we will financially be in a good position to get back up.

3-4 out 1-2 in with some kids I think we will do well and hopefully come back up automatically.

Hey at least we will see some goals and win a few matches!!

Oh and I won't miss the corruption, what a bag of $$$$

Was it not you who said we should give Curbishley a 13 game contract?

Secondly ,it ain't hard to be right when the team is such a shambles at the moment.

E.g. If anyone wants to pay off next season's season ticket easily, twenty quid on us to lose each game of this thirteen game spell would probably be halfway there by now, only Newcastle result would have gone against you.

I said at the time of the sacking I didn't want him gone due to a dearth of available candidates but I couldn't see how he'd survive a 5-1 mauling from our nearest and dearest. He certainly wouldn't be any worse than Connor that's for sure (and I'm not claiming he'd be much better, the results this season speak for themselves, but I don't think we'd have shipped so many goals in the last few games for a start)

Don't start telling us to start backing against The Wolves that always ends in tears on here.

I did say give Curbishley a 13 game contract. I'd give him the job ft now if he'd take it with the aim to get us straight back up.
I've been consistent in my criticism since the summer - you obviously don't come on here very often?!

I'm just pointing it out as an example of a blindingly obvious statement that will always come true at some point, with a loose connection to Wolverhampton Wanderers FC. A bit like NNW's posts.

The one thing I cannot be accused of on here is being wise after the event. I've been saying it will end in tears for months but many on here don't like to own up to the fact they wouldn't accept the inevitable. Well it's happened and it's about time some of you woke up to the reality that we are, and have been a CCC side for the best part of this season.

Can I ask if you take pleasure in our current plight as you certainly seem to be delighted at being 'proved right'?

But by the same token, I don't think anyone was under any illusion we were going to win the title, despite 7 points from the first three games. I could have posted a thread/many posts stating that we're not going to win the title, and started several replies pointing out I've been proved right, but what's the point other than causing agro?!

It may have been bile to you but the 'bile' has come true and you don't like it as the truth hurts. We're $$$$, MM was $$$$, SM/JM are $$$$ and the club has gone down the toilet - it was all very, very predictable to those of us who had our eyes open.
