Huddersfield are in desperate need of quality on the wings. We already have 3 players better than him, and to be honest Huddersfield need someone with quality final ball, which is exactly this lads problem.

He's a pace merchant who is finally adding some end product to his game. I'm not sure I would risk so much money on him, when we have Costa, Cavaleiro, Jota, and MGW still developing.

If this kid had a final ball about him he would be worth 3x that. Maybe with a top class coach???

If he's fast he can just play left back to replace Barry Douglas. All you need is pace to be a full back.

But he is so quick. I love players with pace and now he has an end product. The villa play off game was a blip.

No thanks. Not better than Jota, Costa, Cavaleiro or Jiménez, who I can see playing out wide some times with jota/new striker in a central role.

Why do people think there will be another striker .. Its Jimenez and Bonatini for that central role .. We will not sign Silva as he is similar to both .. We may get another wide man who can play in a liquid front 3 ..

Left wing back for me, wouldn’t have him on the wing at all.

There was a tweet earlier in the Summer talking about us being interested in Traore, alongside PSG. The source seemed fairly credible.

Definitely a Huddersfield type signing. Keep them floating around the bottom 5 until they’re eventually relegated.

    From Jose Alvarez Haya

The interest of PSG in Adama Traoré (even he is going to reffuse the offer) shows his level and how you can buy a top player by only 18 millions. Wolves are really interested on him but maybe is a good chance (and the only one because will be expensive) for top teams to sign him.

Quickest player I’ve seen, if Nuno could sort his end product he’d be a top signing.

Pace terrifies defenders as we all know and with Coady and Neves spraying their paces out he’d be a great outlet.

    Was it?

Took him 94 minutes 40 of which against 10 men 25 of which against 9 to create anything with end product against us?

    Because we will.
Jota, Costa,Cavaleiro will play wide, one of them get a long term injury we have two players for 2 positions. Jiménez can play wide and will do some point to cover one of those. Meaning we will lack in a central role.

We will sign another striker, who like Bonatini (of he isn't sold) is more central and not 'able' to play out wide. Gives us more depth for a 38+ game season to cover for injuries, cups, suspensions and fatigue .

If we were to sign him and lose either costa or Cav, I’d be disappointed.

Would be surprised by this being honest. The forward positions are complete now, unless the club sells one of them. Perhaps Nuno does see him as an option at wing back.

@WednesfieldWolf we won't .. They are our 2 central strikers .. We may sign a pacy wideman similar to how Jota plays

Seems I'm going slightly against the grain here, but I love him. Think he might, might just be on the verge of becoming a seriously good player.

Get him with a good coach and he'll shine. I thought he tore us a new one at The Riverside.

Wouldn't have him in place of any of our current front three but would definitely have him in a Premier League squad. Cav for 60 mins, Traore for the other 30 and vice versa in rotation.

    Yep. Sign him. Announce him.

I’d love him in our squad. Ridiculously quick, very strong and his end product improved a lot last season. Swept the board at Boro’s Player of the Year awards.

Would also give us more flexibility to move Jota into a more central role.

He was unplayable at 'Boro, a yes from me as I'm confident Nuno can add consistency and some nous to his game.

I don't believe Cav or Costa will be nailed on starters in August,

Sorry, I haven't read the previous posts on this thread. How is he on the speed front, quick or slow? If the former, is he just quick or very quick?
