We Wolves fans just want to put that other negative Adam Traore thread behind us here with this one..
As Mikey Burrows said it's a shame Adama had to go off today with what is suspect a slight hamstring injury. He was probably Wolves MOTM up until he was taken off. He did play his part in our great victory today. Putting us always on the front foot, especially the start of second half. In the first half Spurs & Wolves fans would agree that he was our best attacking threat by leaving Dele Alli and Eriksen stranded in his wake. As I've kept insisting to all these critics on here. It's the first time in seven starts Nuno has played him in his most natural and dangerous position on the right :)

Let's hope his injury is not to bad and let's not get on his back and other players in our squad anymore now..
We have proven to have a very good squad with our great victory against Spurs today.. Nuno will coach Adama all right.. and I'm sure the best of Adama Traore for WWFC & Wolves fans to admire is yet to come ;)

As I've said we've got a great squad of players as proven today everybody played their part..
Neves having been not so good past month or two came back more like his usual self today, which help too a team & squad effort all round :)

He was good today and ground down their left back, Davies.

He doesn’t always need to come on from the bench if he tires then from the start.

Good on him. Type of game that suits his style perfectly. Haven't seen the game yet, I was too stuffed from moving house to Noosa ( what a bad decision that was at this time of year) but it sounds like he was excellent.

He certainly played a part today, he ran them ragged at points.
You might argue this allowed us to thrive late on.
    Well done Adama.

    He's such a weird footballer!
But he runs and he tries and he did really well today. Made several chances which a more clinical Wolves would've put away.
Still think he'll get better and develop.
    A work in progress ........

Our best player in the first half and helped to swing the momentum our way at the start of the second.

Like all of our forward players, he is going to blow hot and cold but he has some hugely unique talents, and if we can get the best out of those, he will cause problems for anyone.

Just seen Helder Costa's first prem goal today against Spurs on youtube. Similar breakaway attack to Adama's goal against West Ham. Glad he's broke his duck and scored it should give him more confidence now also..

So this means we'll have 2 great squad options from this right side of the pitch now.. hopefully for the rest of the season :)

It's games like today where he suits us better. Games like the Fulham game for example he is fairly anonymous in because the space just isn't there for him and I still don't think he is a clever enough player to get the better of sides like that.

I think he's brilliant, as I keep saying. It's not a case of Nuno needing to coach him though, just a case of Nuno needing to play him out wide in his best position.

I hope the fans can remain patient with him, i’m sure once his confidence grows, which seems to be happening bit by bit, he’ll be a great player for us.

Agreed. De Bruyne and Salah were still being written off at his age (for different reasons) his decision making and game will improve. He’s an exciting player to watch and clearly Nuno and co see enough in his performances to persist with first team action ahead of talent like Costa and Cav at times.

Did a great job getting us up the pitch when we were under pressure in the first half. Decent delivery as well.

The most encouraging thing for me though was when he cut inside and played a lovely reverse ball to set Raul away. Just looked natural rather than overthinking things.

He’s a great option to have in the squad because his abilities are so different and so unique.

It seems to me that both Traore and Costa are confidence players. Let's hope they build on yesterdays performances. What a prospect with those two and Jota and Cav hitting form for the rest of the season, that would be immense.

Agree. Although he can beat players at ease in tight areas he ends up on his ass too often. Cant blame the opposition. Once he gets away from the first or second challenge he gets taken down. Needs to play wide with space ahead of him and concentrate on the right options. Fantastic yesterday

He played well yesterday. He is what he is though. He might improve in some areas but I don't think anyone is going to coach him into Thierry Henry. In this particular case I think Nuno just needs to find a way to integrate his strengths into the team if we are going to use him, rather than trying to change him to fit into the team. I suspect hat's pretty much what Pulis did. He wants to pick the ball up with lots of the pitch to run into, like he did yesterday, and we should work with that rather than getting it to him up top. There was end product yesterday that we didn't always make the most and for my money there usually is, but we generally don't attack crosses or follow up in numbers.
If there is any problem it's his lack of movement off the ball. Maybe we can work on that a bit. I am glad he played well. Hopefully this is a base to work from - he can be a really exciting player and that's what we want to see isn't it?

Adapting...2nd half yesterday, Doc gave him the ball, and just went into the box, presume knowing Adama get to byeline and cross...rather than usual overlap or offer pass option.

Yes I agree he is much, much better when playing on the right wing, he’s not a striker and I do feel we should only resort to playing him as one in situations where we need a goal and are playing direct enough to utilise his pace.

Until subbed,Adama was our best player yesterday.
I am sure Davies was relieved when he was subbed, because there was a real possibility that Davies would have picked up another yellow the way things were going.
Overall,Traore is developing in the right direction and is a player like no one else because of his motorcycle speed.
Always dangerous in the impact sub role, and now he starts to look the part starting games too.
It looks promising and I do hope the injury isn´t too bad.

For those who are not sure or who actually don't believe that he will ever be a top player for us, consider what it would be like for our defenders having to face him twice a season.
That thought alone makes me pleased that we have him. I also believe that our coaching team is amongst the best in the country and that, therefore, he will without doubt improve!

Still a work in progress but he’s getting there and our coaching staff have proven how they can work to develop players.

If he continues to improve, Jota can pick up where he left off and Costa’s goal will have the same impact a goal did for Jota - we’re going to be looking a lot better of the second half of the season!

Yesterday was his best game for us. If his hamstring was tight though I'd rest him for Palace and play him against Liverpool in the cup.
