no thread on Blackburn vs Man Utd?
It doesn't matter, but Manure are winning 2-0!
Call me a doom monger but I think the titles out of our reach
I want Blackburn and Bolton to come down with us, too many $$$$e Lancashire sides (I would want Wigan down the season after but you have to admire their graft and belief)
We all know we are down. We did before Saturday. We are all just waiting to see if TC gets the job full-time, or the club sees sense, and appoints someone decent.
I wanted Blackburn to win, just to drag Villa into proceedings. Seeing those sobbing Vilers on the final day would make up for a whole season of agony.
Just can't see Villa going down. They always manage to find a way of getting enough points.
We will stay up
You never know. 4 big games coming up. Hopefully it'll translate into 4 losses.
Don't even try to give the idea any credibility by mentioning it. If he's here next season I won't be and I'm not the only one by a long chalk.
I don't want Villa to go down, again on my next year wishlist because Albion will feel too much euphoria if both of us go down for my liking and we don't want little Albion by themselves.
Wolves are gone
Hope Man Utd win another title to be honest rather than the plastic Arabs
We were down the day they appointed Connor , if I didnt laugh about it I would still be crying.
Farce of a decision by the BOD and thinking of him becoming manager full time is the stuff that nightmares are made of.
Many of us aren't considering Vile because of how far away they are from us...but there not that far away from 18th place!
Now uses Tapatalk...aren't you lucky!
Why do people on here peddle this idea that TC will lead us next season? To start to restore any pride in the club SMs first action is to get shot of TC on 13 May. There is no way he will keep him on.
Call me the ultimate optimist and I don’t blame you if you do, but if we appoint a new man now then believe it or not it is still possible. Yes it's going to take one of the biggest miracles that has ever been conceivable, but we do still have a chance. If you had the power to do so, would you not at least make the change now and at least try to make happen the impossible, I know I would.
Yes I'm stubborn, and yes I'm an optimist, but if the chance is still there after so many others have been squandered, then for heavens sake why don't we take it and try to achieve the impossible. I know it's beyond all sensible reasoning, but we do still have a chance, football is football, and once in a while miracles do happen.
Lets just say we win one and draw one of the next three games and we are four points behind safety from doing so, what does that leave? It leaves us with four games to play and with four points to make up, maybe five because of the goal difference. But it certainly won't mean we are out of it, the miracle will still be on and may yet come true.
I know it's almost impossible, but if we end up at the end of the season not needing as many points from our last 7 games as we thought we would, then we will realise we had thrown away the very last chance to produce the impossible.
The least we can do now is fight all the way to hold on to the slimmest of chances that we still have, and if we do, you never know what may yet still happen.
Great goal by Valencia who is probably the best winger in the Premier League right now...after Kightly and Jarvis of course.
Who'd have thought that Paul Jewell's scouting network would stretch to Ecuadorian right-wingers playing in La Liga.
