First time I've tried to set up a pole, so I've probably messed it up. But it's simple really.
    Ikeme
    Kuszcak
    Can't call between them

The Pole made me very nervous on Saturday during the Cardiff onslaught. I hope that it wont be long before Ikeme is back.

The Pole is an absolute bag of nerves. My heart cant take our defending. To put up with 10 players backing off so much that they are all eventually camped in our own penalty area is enough, but now him flapping around? Christ I was glad we could pop for a quick drink after the game Saturday!

We've got Piggy Piggy Piggy Piggy Pole in our goal, in our goal......

Too early to compare - Ikeme has 18 months of good solid form behind him.

If I had to choose based on what I've seen so far I'd still go with Carl.

How I see it as well. Kuszchak has done really well but I just get a feeling he has a clanger or two in him.

Ironic really as that was how I felt about Ikeme when he first replaced Hennessey in the Championship-winning season.

Nice to have decent competition in a position though. If only we'd had the same when Dicko and Edwards were out in November.

2 out of the same 3 games earlier in the season we kept clean sheets.

A scrappy Rotherham goal being the only goal conceded.

Previous 3 games hardly a stick to beat ikeme with. The defenders saved kuzsack on the weekend , along with poor finishing.

He's a good keeper, and I'm very happy with him as no.2 , but just because we have won a few games doesn't mean he is amazing.

He could have done a lot more for the first at Norwich as well. The reactions on here to certain players Change among posters within the space of a 90 minute game. No perspective.

I think Kuszcak is one of those slightly erratic goal keepers that can make some remarkable saves, punches ect. but are prone to a clanger or a moment of madness. They can have games where they truly look unbeatable an win you points but can equally cost you points.

We're used to a more solid goal keeper, the more traditional type in British football, i think they are less likely to win you points but less likely to cost you points too. However the very best of these are able to win you points and I think for our level we've had some great ones recently.

Based on that I'd say Ikeme, Kuszcaks a good keeper and has made some fantastic saves but we've also seen a few moments where he could have quite easily cost us points already with a moments of his erratic nature, for me Ikeme falls into the latter type of keeper yet is still capable of winning points just like Murray and Hen before him.

Ikeme has been very erratic. The Norwich goal, and bray goal are the ones that immediately spring to mind.

Kusz is much better shot stopper but Ikeme is much better at commending his area and is a lot calmer. Both good keepers but I feel a lot safer with Ikeme in goal.

He did indeed, I was there unfortunately to watch it. Especially the one goal where he caught the ball above his head and then fell backwards into the empty goal.

He has improved substantially since then I'm pleased to say.

    The Bristol City one?

Seriously, he has played since 2007/8 and whilst he hasn't played year in year out, we could still only count his mistakes on one hand I reckon.

This year I think the Ipswich goal was his fault other than that I dont think much else and Kuszcak has come in and did his best to throw away two points on Saturday!

And I think TK is good, an excellent back up and decent Championship goalie, just Ikeme is better!

    1:50 poor punch

    4:50 nowhere near it

5:30 nowhere near it twice .

3 very lucky moments on Saturday alone. Both are similiar but I prefer ikeme. I may be being negative but a keepers job is one which is highlighted massively when mistakes are made. Both are good shop stoppers and average at controlling their box. I'm happy with either but personally prefer ikeme.

He was caught in no man's land too many times for my liking, if it wasn't for bodies being thrown on the line (quite literally in Stearman's case), we would of lost. I rate Kuszczak as a better shot stopper but Ikeme as the better all round keeper, his command of the area is far superior to that of Kuszczak. Maybe that is because he hasn't played with the back line very often; who knows. As long as he keeps keeping clean sheets, who cares!
