Was out in Hereford last night and had several conversations with Hereford United fans, primarily about the good old days, Turner, Bully and Matt Murray but the younger ones all seemed to have the same dark secret that they, "one by one", sheepishly confessed to. They had become members of that lot down the road, not however because they have any affinity with the west Birmingham club, but simply because they can get tickets to their away games easily and they're generally cheaper than most other teams. They told me they've been to Man City, Arsenal, Old Trafford etc and it was dead easy to get tickets and it was widely known and fans of other lower league teams target them as well. Asked did they do it when we were in the Prem and they laughed said no chance of getting hold of away tickets with Wolves. So next time your favourite Baggie brags about their away following, just ask them how many were bonafide Bennies!
