Goals from under 21's v Shrewsbury
Who was that tricky left winger?
Not to sure, looks abit like Jordan graham?
Hunte I think.Graham was on the bench
Many thanks for posting this PW.
Think Hunte was wearing the number 11 shirt. Think it was Graham who got the majority of the assists.
I think it was Connor Hunte but not sure..
Hunte was on the left with Zele Ismail on the right
Jordan Graham was on the bench
Connor Hunte has been in the 1st team match day squads recently
Conor Hunte was the most impressive player when I saw the U21s against Brighton recently

Lose at Derby u21's 2-0. What an appalling season they are having. One win all season!
Half of Derby's team was probably on loan from other clubs though.
I sense sarcasm Sedgley!
If Morgan wasn't overly impressed with Stweave and his mate Mick Halsall, I dread to think what his opinion of Scott Sellars' contribution is.
Bin him at the end of the season and promote Rob Edwards.
Of course it isn't all about results but one win all season is diabolical.
I would be calling Sellars in for a chat if I was Morgan.
The academy results are judged on how many make it into our team not the scoreline vs their counterparts, but they are poor results none the less.
True but as you say the results are very poor and cant be good for players confidence.
No excuses. The results are nowhere near good enough.
It doesn't matter what level or age it's at, losing every week is no good for anyone. At least we have a good crop coming through from the U18s.
Is the record broken?
I'd be locking the coach in the cellar if it was down to me
Its ok losing is character building and they are refining their technique which is what it is all about. Results at U.21 stage DON'T MATTER. Geddit?
Scott Sellars seemed to have such a good pedigree so its surprising how the U.21 have gone so downhill and worrying even if one or two have progressed to the first team universe. Early days for Sellars but it seems we don't have the youth quality some claim. Losing Keita hardly helps.
It may well be that Sellars is working through the squad and weeding out the weakest, at the same time bringing in some new coaching. He has a reputation as a good youth coach, and less than a season is too soon to judge, especially when several players have already made the jump up.
A workmate’s two sons have been in Academies, one Stoke, one Vale. He also played briefly for Vale himself before injuries ended his career but has retained a lot of contacts in the game. He told me the other day Wolves are considered to be doing things right at youth level as they concentrate on developing players not producing results. If we get one youngster a season breaking through the academy will have been a success and that is the over-riding basis on which it should be judged. Results of matches are insignificant by comparison.
I agree but the players themselves must get disheartened when they keep failing to win.
I think by the time they reach the U21 level results should be a little more important. Sellars is relying on what's been developed at the levels underneath him. If we have been poor for the last 5-7 years developing and recruiting young kids the U21's will be weak. Could explain why we have brought a lot of players in the U21's from other clubs as we didn't recruit well in this period.
Good points. I just hope we are doing as my mate is correct and we are prioritising individual player development over results at all levels below the first team.
Looking at the teamsheet for the Derby game it was a very young team with not very many recognised defenders in it. Matinyadze was a winger/midfielder until this season & Regan Upton was a midfielder when he joined the academy.
