As a result of the drawing of lots.
Welcome back Sako !
Pity he's injured.
And I though going out on penalties was bad! Farcical.
Sako back for Reading then
...is he really injured?
Still be good to see him back and receiving treatment.
With our history, he'd be better off being treated there !
A great shame for Sako who by all accounts has played very well so far but great news for Wolves. Hope going out in such a way doesn't have an adverse effect on him but with his approach and attitude sure it won't.
Besides being good news for Wolves it will also hopefully exacerbate any transfer deals so as the matter can be sorted until at least the seasons end.
Such a silly rule. So random...
Well, anyways, welcome home SAKO!
Back in good time to be sold
By some African witch doctor with strange potions.
It will bring the matter to the fore I believe.
Oh dear oh dear. Hopefully we'll resist the imminent bids from West Ham.
And the $$$$e
If a team like West Ham bid for him and match our valuation then he's going!
He'll probably have Malaria.
If someone comes in with a 2.5m bid and he leaves we have no replacement.
At what point do people start getting fired for inability to deliver?
if WHU want him will jarvo come back as a swap?
I read today we'd be looking for a price in the region of 2 million. That's absolutely insane. McCormack goes for 11 million, Luke Shaw 30 million, and Sako's only worth what we originally paid for him? I don't buy the garbage about his wages being an issue either. Both Johnson and Doyle are leaving in the summer, that frees up what? at least 50k a week. Surely an extra bit more for Sako would therefore be completely doable?
Could the same farce occur in the World Cup and the European Championships? Do they not have rules to prevent this sort of

''In 1954 Turkey knocked out Spain from during a World Cup qualifier by drawing straws. Blindfolded Italian boy Luigi Franco Gemma picked the straws to decide the winner''.
It's theoretically possible for the World Cup to use lots for a tiebreaker, but there are many factors that would be used before resorting to that:
Head to head results between tied teams
Goal difference resulting in the group matches between the teams concerned.
Goals scored in all group matches between the teams concerned.
I'm sure there is provision for drawing lots in the world cup, if all else fails to separate the teams. I don't know about Euro's but I would think the same applies there.
I imagine the problem with penalty shootouts for example is that it could potentially involve teams playing their final games in different venues, so would have to be arranged for a second day. I suppose this could cause problems for pitch preparation, although I would have though its only going to take an hour or so and could even be done on a training ground if necessary rather than a tournament venue.
Drawing lots is definitely really unsatisfactory, but very rarely is it going to be required so the authorities have probably got "more important" things to think about.
I think all those apply in this case as well, but doesn't divide them.
I would take a straight swap definitely. Sako has 6 months left on his contract, Jarvis is out of favor at West Ham and has played only 6 times this season.
But would Jarvis want to return?
Very very unlikely, and I agree Sako is currently the better of the two and don't want him to leave... But a straight swap for a player we got circa £10m for two years ago as a straight swap for a player we'll get nowt for in 6 months? A no brainer really.
But as I said never going to happen.
£2m for Sako and Jarvis on a 6 month loan option - I'd take that as well!
Not on our pay structure I wouldn't have thought, plus he would not fit the type of player we are looking for. Young and hungry, on the way up, with a future resale value. i.e. cheaper than overpaid established players on the way down.
So exactly the same factors as the ACON then? :vollkommenauf: Work it out - those factors don't separate teams with three 1-1 draws.
In the Euros a few years ago, Turkey and Czech Republic had identical records going into the last game between them. UEFA agreed an ad hoc penalty shootyout would be held if they drew. Seems sensible.
He's coming home, coming home,
Sako's coming home, lol
How long for ? Mali would have risked him and more damage would have been done , good news .

I think there should be a better tiebreaker, but the chances of World Cup groups having this problem is less, due to seeding and greater difference between teams.
If all the above cannot settle the winner then the team that slips the biggest wedge into Seps back pocket is surely the way it's done.
read on the bbc rumour site or in the metro newspaper that wba and another club cant remember who are interested in jarvis
I was driving when the news came on the radio - Christ did my wife and son jump in their seats when I heard Mali had lost the draw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sako will definitely leave if he reads this
Whe are sitting in a great position just below the play offs. If we go ahead and sell our only playmaker who is settled in place of an unknown quantity, at this stage of the season, then somebody should be sacked. 2.5m? What is the price of a season in the prem
