With the current wave of optimism sweeping through the forum, it has got me thinking. We are seeing some promising youngsters coming through with Iorfa, Hause, Price Ebank-Landell and Evans all shining at various times this season. Other players are making steady progress such as Batth. This week could also see the introduction of a new striker who, combined with Dicko, could be a mouth watering combination at Championship level. My question then is what happens if Wolves do manage to get promotion this season? I cannot see a top two finish but with some quality reinforcements arriving in the transfer window, promotion through the play offs is not beyond reach. So, should promotion be achieved, what will the club's strategy next season be? Will they simply make the best of what we've got and just take the money to build long term or will they recruit to compete. With both options, what will this do for the future development of our youngsters? If we go with what we have got then a season struggling could hamper their development and/or destroy their confidence. If new recruits arrive then the youngsters will struggle to get game time and this will also hamper their development. Your thoughts?
