Derby and Burnley both through to the semis..

puts more pressure on both of their fixture lists ( although obviously both are a long way off us at the moment)... either of them may be able to put a decent run together

  2. Good news. Now all we need to do is lose to the Blooze and cause them to have an FA Cup run, and hope that Reading fall into the same trap.

    I'm quite pleased:
2 championship teams have got through
I don't have to hear anymore about Arsenals young guns
Derby and Burnley will have 2 extra games.

I'm expecting both to be serious playoff contenders with Burnley (my dark horses at the start of the season) even pushing the top 2.

  4. Burnley's squad won't be big enough, or have enough quality, to sustain a cup run and a promotion challenge.

Burnley played very well yesterday and also had a very good result last Saturday. These results show that Wolves did very well against them for they were practically nullified, when they came to Molineux.

My thoughts entirely. Wear them out and we just concentrate on the league.

Well logic tells me that Wolves and Blues should be tripping over each to lose the Molineux replay. But no doubt cup tradition will takeover and we'll struggle on to the semi final.

There's a surprise. Prem teams avoid each other so the small clubs miss out on Wembley.

    Or will they?

  13. oops didnt realise the semi is two legged so it is 3 games.
I predit a Burnley Manure final, Burnley have already beaten 3 prem teams, fulham chelsea and arsenal, so i can see spurs fielding a weakened team to concentrate on the league and so go out
