They have offered all season ticket holders a free ticket for the cup game against us!!

Obviously think they won't get many in.

And they call themselves a big team!!

They should just offer all the tickets to us. We could fill the place for them :D:D

This could be quite a tasty game.

A cup match, in the holiday period, with discounted tickets.

I can see it attracting quite a few of the old nutters for a day out.

How many season ticket holder do they have? They will probably designate it a catagory AAA match and fleece our fans to make up for the shortfall.

Their season ticket holders are regularly $$$$ed off with the continual offers given for match day tickets as they are struggling to get the gates.

They have to do something to try and appease the season ticket holders I guess.

If Wolves had made such an offer it would have been seen as a good thing...

I personally would be surprised to see this match being a sell out - for either team. Would be surprised to see either team fielding anything like a full strength team, particularly in what will be a potentially very bruising encounter

be really funny if there are empty seats when it is free to go in.

It will really show how $$$$ their support is

Im sure they have been giving out free or cheap tickets for the last few home games and still had less than 20k fans there.

There must be something in the FA Cup fair charging scheme where they offer fans of both sides tickets at the same prices.

That'll be 5,000 free tickets for us then!

My missus mentioned the other offer they have on yesterday - buy a ticket for Swansea and get Reading for free.

She was about to book tickets for her and my step sons when I reminded her that we really couldn't cancel paying our pre-christmas visit to the mother-in-law in Rotherham on 20th. (especially as I have tockets for Doncaster!)

Amazing luck as I only persuaded her to switch from 5th Dec to 20th on Friday night!

Have they confirmed what the ticket prices are for us? If like Watford they are discounted then I'll go. If they are the usual rip off price then forget it.

Don't both clubs have to agree on tickets prices for cup games? Also I think the FA have a say as they get about 30% of the gate receipts. I might be wrong though!!

I think the FA get 10% and the 2 clubs get 40% each and yes both clubs have to agree on ticket prices.

Birmingham will have to fork out the 40% (for all the money they would have recieved from the tickets they are giving away for free) out of their own pockets.

Any club wanting to do this promotion would have to inform the FA at the start of the season.

    (iv) Season tickets
Each Club participating in the competition is to advise The Association in writing by
31 August in the year of the Competition whether their season tickets entitle the
holder to attend Challenge Cup matches. In addition those clubs that include
admission to Challenge Cup matches within the cost of the season ticket are also to
advise The Association of the total value (including VAT) and number of the Club’s
season ticket sales for that season. Any season ticket sales after 31 August are to be
    advised to The Association.
Those Clubs that include admission to Challenge Cup matches within the cost of the
season ticket are to include in match receipts reported on the Statement of Receipts
and Payments Forms the total value of season ticket sales divided by the maximum
number of matches that the season ticket holder is entitled to attend during the
    season for all Competitions

Im pretty sure BCFC have asked their fans to use the voucher in the back of their season ticket to gain entry for the cup game so i would imagine that they did inform the FA that they would be giving tickets away if they chose to do so.

The only question is have they included this in the price of their season ticket?

That seems fair, a fiver, regardless of how much the teams actually want to progress is a nice price for an away day.

3pm kick off, cheap tickets and a local derby. 4000 away fans.

Spells a riot if you ask me...

Cannot believe the police have allowed this to go ahead

  24. Is there an option for more seats?

They are not providing us with 15% if my mathematics are correct.

The 15% can include segregation and considering 4,500 is 15% of 30,000.
