I remember number of posts saying were doomed because Plymouth would be relegation fodder this season.

They are crap, and will be beaten by everyone except a poor Woves team.

    Wolves - Top
    Plymouth challenging for the PO's.

    :) :) :)

I wasnt too happy with that draw, and the way our season has gone has made me right not to be happy. We have beaten far better teams than plymouth on our travels this season. You have jogged my memory about that disgrace glasgow :D

Even then I knew it wasn't a bad result. It took alot to persuade some people otherwise though!

I just wonder what would have happened after drawing against Plymouth, we lost our next 3 games not knowing the next 15 would all end in victories... would Mick have been allowed the chance to turn things around??:p

That sir is the $65,000 and one which we'll never know the answer to. We didn't so it never arose.

Why all the triumphalism this morning, glasgow? It is rather unseemly, to be honest.

We haven't won anything yet, and if and when we do, I don't think any of us will be able to take much credit for it.

Has a manager ever been sacked after four games?

I think he managed a full 11 minutes after the press conference naming him as manager.

That game was just 'one of those things'.... the weather was utterly appalling and at the end of the day it was the first game of the season - amazingly it took us until the very next game to hit our stride! (rolls eyes)

    Sack the $$$$ing board!!!

    I remember a number of your posts stating Keogh should in the side and is a great centre forward and one of the best players at the club;

    Wolves - Top

    Keogh - Benched

    :)

It's been our ability to turn potential draws into wins that has made the difference this season. Imagine if half our wins had ended in draws (8 wins , 8 draws) - we would be on 32 pts. Not bad but in the pack where we often were.

He was the best forward on show Saturday.

Reading fans have said the difference between Wolves and them is We have players of the ability of Keogh to bring on, they don't.

You were wrong last season, you were wrong after the Plymouth game.
And you are most def wrong about Keogh

True Atlas but when things go wrong we get the blame (well the Boggies fans I know seem to think its down to me) so I am enjoying some of the kudos while the going is good.

You're kind of right IMHO rincewind.

My view being when teams are winning games it's down to the players but when they're losing it's down to the Manager. Main reason why the Manager gets the push after a losing streak (Boothroyd being the latest with, by all accounts, Calderwood being the one latest teetering on the brink) no-one ever calls for a player to be sacked in these instances.

    12 points clear of third.
    6 points cler of second
    Win at Saits
    Win at Thug Utd

But the majority of us can take some credit.
Some numpties were calling for MM's head last season, but the vast majority of fans saw the progress we were making.
    Saw the through the results.

MM is not going to let the players the players relax.

Burnley were form team and going to be hard.
    Saints we have never beaten
3 defeats in 4 games our bubble had burst
Swansea were the team to beat us Cardiff were the team to beat us
Sheffield Utd were a physical team that we will not perform against we will get beat.
Watford were the same last season, so we are going to do the same.

    None of the above happened.
We have overcome everything thrown at us this season.

This is our season, sit back and enjoy it.

We will lose again this season, but we will bounce back.

Why don't you sit back and enjoy it, rather than goading other Wolves fans with your "told you so" posts?

    Which was my point.

    Quite.

Imagine threads of this nature from the other side of the spectrum had we started poorly and McCarthy was sacked after a 3-1 defeat at Sheffield United. I think the threadstarter(s) would be told to $$$$ off.

Yes, and it'd be equally smug and self-satisfied on the part of those threadstarters.

I didn't want Mick out, thought we'd be top two this season and said that David Jones was 1000 times better than Olofinjana. No need to start 4/5 threads about how right I was (equally, I've been proven wrong on a lot of things, as have you).

He conveniently forgets alot of things to suit his argument. And his undivided love for Keogh is just baffling.

I had 3 mates who went to Plymouth who all said we were second best to Plymouth & that we were lucky to come away with a draw.

Jarvis should've started too. If he had we'd have probably won.

FFS Glasgow just let it drop... enjoy our current success with some dignity... go to the loo even & crack one out over your Andy Keogh scrapbook if that helps.

Made me laugh BILD. I was thinking to myself that he must be a youngster to continually spout his rubbish so I forgave him bearing in mind present educational standards.

if you were really sorry you would have just deleted it? your quite clearly trying to attract more attention on yourself by posting an apology after the original post...

as for people managing to wind you up.. as a result of their own opinions on an internet forum.............:eek:

Is that the system whereby you have to wind your window up when driving past a school in case they try to throw a GCSE into your car?
